What's Happening?

Haven't been feeling okay for a long time... It's becoming the new normal.

 

I know that sucks. :grouphug:

 

I've just been practicing some pool. We have our qualifying final on Wednesday so just getting my eye in. I haven't practiced or played since last Wednesday but when I go out and I shoot pretty well then I don't like to overdo it. I will be putting in practice and drills in the long off season. I'm going to come back next season like fire! Is the plan.

 

The Pineapple Upside Down Cake is in the oven and it smells like heaven in here!

 

Yeah, but still the resale value is huge. I could polish it up and sell it for a lot more than what I got for it. However, I don't know if I'll actually do it. I don't have nice silverware aside from this, so I might just hold onto it.

 

Be careful how you clean it, no abrasives, you WILL ruin it..
It's nice to have some nice cutlery, and if it's identical to that link, it's lovely!

 

One problem with cleaning silver plate... You never know how much silver was removed with previous cleanings... It's micro thin to begin with.

 

So you don’t have standard curbside pickup?

My only complaint is the 64 gallon cart the city gives you often isn’t enough, so you are forced to purchase orange overflow bags at $2.25 each (you can’t use regular store bought plastic bags)

I have curbside pickup. I cancelled one company and went with another.

The new company is $24 cheaper per quarter based on 2 carts; plus you can put out 5 extra bags every week. You don't have to buy bags from them.

(which I deleted a few days ago).

I didn't really know what to say to her, since I know he's behind her doing this, so I just responded with a

 

Maybe just state I am making changes in my life and I need you to respect those. Not a nice situation to have happen but sometimes head on is best.

Been busy here and I finally got the upstairs wood work and doors all repainted. Rugs in the kids rooms, hall and stairs are done too. Looks all fresh and clean again.

Saturday Mia turned 22 and on Thursday Kieran turns 21. I did a family birthday dinner yesterday for them as everyone was only available on Monday. Seems strange to do it on a week day but it turned out great and I think everyone enjoyed it.

Now if I could only figure out how 22 years have gone and it seems only like yesterday......

 

Well, I sold an expensive doll for almost $800.00...between ebay and paypal taking big cuts of it....i was left with under $700.00...I have several more auctions listed with many more auctions to list....I bought myself a Christmas present for $120.00....a mustard colored poncho and the rest goes for other people for checks in their Christmas cards this year, and an expensive collector bottle of booze for my neighbors this year....as that is really what they like the most as gifts.....

 

Just got my replacement phone. Says about 6 hours to download everything from the cloud. Not even sure I want the cloud. I never purposely put anything there...clearly there is some automated button I didn't click when I got the phone.

 

I realize the thumbs up was ambiguous and if asked anything more, from any of them, I will be certain to make it absolutely clear.

Gosh, I have some Living Dead Dolls, new in box, that I need to sell. Before Halloween would be great. I just hate the hassle of dealing with Ebay, shipping, etc.

 

That is so funny, Aeri...i just went through all of my Living Dead dolls and Monster High dolls and pulled out a good portion of LDD to sell and all of my MH dolls to sell....
Next comes the hassle of taking good photos, listing the items....and selling alot of these things will be good, too. People will get even higher amounts for Christmas checks, if I can sell more stuff, and there are a few things I have my eye on also.
Ebay IS a hassle.....I put in the measurement and the weight of the doll i sold and they charged buyer and 12.00 for shipping?!
really? It cost $25.00 to ship that doll. Not again. I am putting in my own shipping price from now on...but what alternative is there? Bringing to a store to sell for you that takes at least half of selling price...nah....I will stay with ebay's fee of 11%, and paypal's small fee.
Well, all of this new work will be what I do after I get back from exercising dogs now on this humid day..

 

I'm having a lot of difficulty with knitting.

Well, whoever it is, him or his mother, replied to the thumbs up. They posted two of the same emoticon. It's a little guy winking and sticking his tongue out. That tongue out guy is a favorite of his when he would text me.

I hope it's just dropped. I have been doing so well and I don't need even this small amount of drama.
