I don't consider ganja to really be a drug so not counting it, i can't decide between ecstacy/shrooms/ and LSD. I just can't pick a favorite out of those three. But those are my favs.
I had to go with shrooms, only cause they are a special treat everyonce in awhile, Ganja would be my favorite for everyday type of thing. Even though niether one of these is technoly a drug.
I don't consider pot to be much of a "drug" either so I'd say ecstacy/shrooms would be my favorite....although I don't do them much anymore. So for that reason I'd say my favorite thing right now would be morphine.
Well, you obviously find it easier to explain your DMT experiences than me, although mine were a while ago now, but no doubt your explanations don't even come close to the actual experience. If you haven't done it then it will be even less imagineable. It is absolutely impossible to get any idea of what it's like until you do it. I read up loads of experiences before I did DMT but that didn't prepare me for what happened, in my first experience I was launched into a pink abyss where I was floating/drifting in what seemed to be a wide orbit around a vast DNA strand... but I find the exact details of what happened fades very quickly, particularly on experiences after that one. I generally feel the hum of my brain functioning, like my brain is breaking down into nothing, dislocation, emergence into another dimension (for want of a more descriptive word). But very often what takes place does so at a very fast rate. I would have a lot of trouble counting at the speed in which all takes place... whizzing as though I am witnessing the electric charges charging around my nervous system... I think the world really does need to experience this, everyone that is, dislocation from ones self gives a much broader perspective to the infinite.... stoned is not a word that should be used for smoking weed, you don't get stoned on weed, you get dull in end, everybody is smoking and no-one is getting high, that can't happen with DMT, you don't build a tolerance to it and you are enhancing yourself instead of filling your body with dangerous damaging chemicals... Stoned is a feeling of awareness, stoned immaculate.... that's a feeling I only ever achieved to a minor degree with weed when I first smoked it, now it does nothing but hinder my functioning. Maybe that's just me?
Pot is an everyday kinda thing... had a hard time choosing between LSD/Mushrooms/ecstacy, but LSD won out simply because my experience with it has been so gratifying and life-altering (in a good way)
They are drugs... From any literal chemist dictionary, they are. They alter a chemical process in the body, ergo a drug. And Dr. Shulgin, was a chemist first.
As we have a lot of votes now, I draw some interesting conclusions from this poll: 1. No-one voted for mescaline. This is interesting because during the last years, some scientific studies said, that mescaline is on it´s way back and may have a big renaissance. 2. Only very few people prefer alcohol. I guess, if someone has once tried some really good stuff, alcohol isn´t very much interesting any more. 3. Hallucinogenes (esp. LSD and shrooms) are on their way back after the 90s mostly belonged to amphetamines and their relatives. 4. The majority of the posters prefer cannabis - and most of them even don´t see it as a "drug" in the classic sense. These results are quite interesting, so I allowed myself, to mail the location of this poll to a good friend. He´s a professor of medicine (psychiatry) at the Hannover Medical School, here in Germany (and he does a lot of studies on drugs). I´m wondering how he will comment the results of the poll...
Mescaline. I do opiates daily, must mescaline is by far my favorite drug...and my favorite psychedelic experience.
LSD and psilocybin are in no way related to amphetamines....AMT,possibly 5-meo-amt, DOI, and all the 2C compounds, and MDMA are related...but definately NOT LSD and mushies. Mescaline is even in the same family as MDMA and the 2C compounds....Interesting comment on mescaline....i wouldnt mind seeing a resurgence of it.....pure mescaline crystals....yummy.
I think what they meant was, the 90's belonged to amphetamines and drugs related to amphetamines like meth. It wasn't implied that LSD and shrooms were related to amps.
I didn´t say that! I said, that LSD and shrooms are back now and are taking the place of the amphetamine family, which was the most consumed substance group in the 90s.
It's a tie between amphetamines and hydromorphone for me. I guess I'll pick Dilaudid cause there's no crash or insomnia with that.
i have to be honest here...ive not tried many drugs..but caffine is a must for everyday living!!! my first ext was a really wonderful experience, i went camping on the summer solstice with a bunch of other hippie folk and we were all just jamming and dancing and a couple of my friends had the fire chains going....ill never forget it! im not a big drinker, i mean its alright and im nt opposed to getting slightly tiddly i just hate being drunk!!
