Instead of doing Christmas presents with Chris's BFF and my BFF (who are also a couple), we're going out for dinner tonight. Just to a local Italian place, it's reasonably priced but the food is always amazing. Here's the dinner menu, what would you order? I normally go for the caprese salad to start, and I'm tempted by the Bianca pizza. ETA: the jury's out on whether I'll have enough room for dessert. I doubt it but I do love a good affogato.
the carbonara to be different this time. pretty much anything without tomatoes the olives the fishey anti-pasto much more within reason the prices this time (unlike that rick roly place) i could go here almost every month on my little pension (provided it wasn't a month i splurged on anything else of course)
Calamari to start, Pollo Gnocchi with a side of seasonal vegetables, and Affogato for desert. All paired with a beautful 2011 Riserva Ducale. Man I'm making myself hungry typing all this out XD
local? seems like just last week you were posting links to australian places and now its on a different continent...and youre posting from a third different continent maybe ill order a spam sandwich
Update: I had the caprese salad as usual, and I did go for the Bianca pizza. It was unreal. Oh and tiramisu for dessert - the peppermint biscotti was A++++.
Egg and bacon is spoken as if you want egg and then some bacon. But we all don't want that. No normal person would ever want that. We want bacon and a little bit of egg. Bacon /and/ eggs. Except me because I have a complex with eggs now unless they're scrambled with melted cheese. But I'd still emphasize bacon first or else you shouldn't get too much because it's a side.
