Yes, I have been bullied with mind games before, and I was able to stand up for myself that time. And sadly, I think Im always going to be someone who is very susceptible and vulnerable to being bullied. And Im always alone, which just makes it worse. I dont think I could make anyone think Im prepared for a brawl, Im about as non-violent as they come, and couldnt fight my way out of a paper bag. lol I think I am tougher mentally than I used to be, but I'm still far too soft for my own good I think.

 

Well, of course things are easily said than done and nobody actually did spit on me but I'm just pretty sure (since I would not deserved in any way) that I rather go down in a fight then just walk away. Then again, I haven't gotten into a fight since forever. I'd probably go down, yeah but surely I will try to inflict some pain on the guy who thinks he could do that to me (I also think especially if I do know the person, if it's some weird guy with angry looking friends and a knife in his pocket it would probably be better to let it go).

 

I spit on a girls hair once as I was leaving the school bus. trust me she deserved it. :angel:

I think you're right that a lot of people here wouldn't retaliate in such an extreme fashion as a lot of the replies have suggested. Although I do think most would retaliate in some way. It was difficult for me to respond in the way I should have, because I was afraid of the person who did it to me.

Yes, exactly. Most people aren't going to spit in someone's face if they think they'll be given a good kicking for doing so. The majority would only do it to someone they know they'd have a pretty good chance of beating down if the person retaliated. I also think for this reason, women are probably more likely to spit in a man's face, than another man, because she thinks he won't attack her physically.

 

Spit back in their face or hit them most likely.

A relateded topic is spitting on the ground @ you.that,s an insult too.tho obviously more subtle.& a fight over it would make the instigator look "better".many have spat upon the ground @ my feet.

That's totally different to me. I can ignore such an action easily and act like the 'better' person myself. Would probably laugh in the persons face though.. which I can't see myself doing when I would be spat on.

 

Same here. I don't advocate hitting women, but if a woman were to spit in my face, I'd slap the remainging spit out of her mouth, without a second thought. No closed fist of anything, just a swift backhand.

Yeah in a sitaution like that, which has happened, I just laugh at them and say something along the lines of "what? Too scared to swing on me, bitch?" hahaha
