Large trucks/ SUV's

Most people really don't need that kind of space. Somehow 40 years ago their parents all raised them with 2 door rear wheel drive cars. Now they think cause they have 2 kids they need 8 seats.

I used to work for a Toyota dealer. Most people with the trucks had office jobs not the construction they are meant for.

I would ban sales tax. I live in Oregon and we don't have sales tax for most things.

I would also ban portable bathrooms. They stink.

Two things, time change twice a year and seatbelt laws.

I don't care what they want the damn clock to say, just adjust your activities accordingly to whatever those hands point to.

And the same damn government that had me jump out of planes now says I have to wear a damn seatbelt to protect myself. Hey, just the other day, a guy was shot by a cop for not wearing his seatbelt. Bullshit!

The highways and bi-ways of our nation would be covered in raw hamburger that even McDonald's wouldn't reuse.

 

There is no evidence that seatbelts protect anyone but the driver. I didn't say that minors in the vehicle shouldn't be required, just like safety seats. But, as an adult, society shouldn't require me to protect myself. As a cop I saw an incident where a seatbelt would have killed a driver. She wasn't wearing one and that is why she survived a crash. There should be no laws that make a person protect themselves. Should we outlaw parachuting, mountain climbing, cave diving?

 

Everyone I know who has died in a car crash died because they werent wearing a seatbelt.

 

Did you jump out of the planes without a parachute?

 

People on the internet who write before engaging their brain! Drivers who don't indicate!

 

I highly doubt the cops care about you wearing a seat belt or the government by my Mom who is an ER nurse cares and so does my Dad who retired from being a doctor. It's hard on them. No one wants to see a dead body in the ER.
