Killing yourself is more man then staying alive, if i put a gun to your head right now you will probably start crying your little balls out.

He was smart enough to recognize this world is fucked up, and brave enough to not become a slave of society. Kurt Cobain is kick ass, anyone that thinks suicide falls into the 'pussy' category is just a dumbass. Some pricks think that think he was selfish for killing himself..you bitches are selfish for wanting him to stay alive if he had such strong feelings for death.

And in my opinion Nirvana is one of the best bands i have ever heard, and it will always remain on my #1 list.

 

I was in grade 10, and at a party when I found out he was dead. One of my friends came running in and told us the news. The party stopped, the music was turned off, and there was silence for 15 minutes. Then we all sat around listening to Nevermind.

He was a genuis, and beautiful in a way that is beyond expression. His performance on "unplugged" is mesmorizing and prophetic. He was very sick both mentally and physically. Music had been his escape, but the circus that had become his music was no longer an escape. In his mind, there was nothing he could do but kill himself.

I wish he hadn't. It spelled the end of an era for me. I think that suicide is never the answer. I wish he would have stayed and fought the good fight a little longer, even if he had never made another album. Too many musicians go out that way.

What would I say to him? I think I would have to agree with a previous poster and just listen.

 

Wow..such harshness. I personally would offer him some pot, put on some Zeppelin, and tell him how beautiful his daughter is, like he was.

Everyone does not experience the same thing, that is stupid for you to even think that. Taking your own life instead of continuing on is something most people are not brave enough to face. The majority of the greedy, selfish, and the ignorant in this world are greater then the peaceful and intelligent, this will never change, and there is nothing you can do about that. Face it, suicide is the only way out if you dont wanto give your body to the government.

I never said suicide was heroic, i think that its more brave for a person to commit suicide then to continue in this world, yes. I do not endorse violence or encourage suicide, i believe its a decision made by a human being that most people should respect, i should have the right to harm myself or commit suicide if i want. Why are you stopping me from ending my own life? This body belongs to me, not to you, the government, or anyone else.

 

in the end, it doesnt really matter... everyone will die anyway, so what if its from a self inflicted gun wound...
