What Will You Do When The System Collapses?

We're scapegoats 'cause we do the world's dirty work.

I remember a few years back when folks left the country in droves after bush took on his second term. It was tempting, but then I realized as part of this mess I have a responsibility to stay and clean it up. Besides, anywhere you go you'll be affected, so you might as well stay put where at least you have a fighting chance of being part of the movement to make a difference.

A good thing to do is to stay off the radar as much as possible. Don't own any registered guns, that way they won't be as likely to come and take them away. And if you buy gold, bury it in a hole in the ground. If you've got it at a bank you can be sure they'll seize it if they need it badly enough. Plus it's just something that'll make someone more likely to wanna rob you. Best having nothing of any value to anyone else but yourself. Land is a good investment. Houses are not, unless they're minimalistic shelters, and off the grid.

So after the system collapses, we'll all be able to camp out and live off the land without zoning or health officials shutting us down. We'll grow our own food and herb, have bon fires and parties, dance...

...shiat, maybe it won't be so bad after all...

 

A bit naive. if they arrest you, you'll be chained down, starved and tortured... I reeeeeaaaaalllly doubt the "Child Of Light" will still be dancing. lol

 

Ever hear of the WATTS riots.. not pretty. total collaps of the system.. no.. not pretty at all. Very frightening.. very dangerous for everyone. I lived in LA during this time. You really don't want total collaps.

Gravity is right on that point just to say, but if the DNS servers do collaspe, woun't it be good to make a server and have an ip search engine...

or, go back to the 'code freedom' days of the early eighties where people passed code from place to place or in magazines...

I have taken all the necessary steps to be self sufficient. That is one of the main reasons I am not on the power grid. I have wind/solar, a well, propane while it would last. Far enough away from the city to stay out of the fray.

I am more afraid of the people who want what I have in desperation. Could get really ugly. Sharing the way we live and helping people is one thing. It just scares me, at least I know I am prepared and hopefully I can spread my knowledge to help others get there if they can.

 

sounds lke the darn thing is hitting the bottom, now we have bush on the news threatening everybody , if we do not bail it out so what, I hope congress does not approve it, it is all part of the new world order anyway, the dollar will come to nothing, and then the next thing ya know, the one world government. I am hoping for Jesus to come back soon.

 

Look, if the whole thing is down; government is gone and all, I would be scared of being invaded.
I would loot a gun store and several other stores including the gas station then look for refuge in the mountains/hills. After setting up a base camp I would search for others to join my "gang" and set up a farm. While waiting for my crops to grow I will hunt and loot grocery stores for food. I will find a few mates and create a clan, then as I reach old age we will invade and create a country for ourselves!

Kiddin. I bet I would live my life as I always had except I would start growing crops wit ma pa (lol) and ah I guess I would loot stores steal cattle for the family when were really in need of food...or when I get really bored

 

Jesus.....I'm not even going to touch that subject.
The one world government hopefully will never exist as long as people like us, who oppose that idea are around.
Seriously, I won't hesitate to assassinate whoever starts trying to fuse the world under one government which if that ever does happen, I would bet money it would lead into a totalitarian govt.
The U.S. govt. hasn't hit the bottom...yet. We just need to quit spending money on other countries and become an isolationist government till we know we are ready to face the rest of the world again.

I don’t think it will break but it is going to be in for a hard ride and things are going to change for sure.

If the system collapses in the U.S.A. the “system” or government powers have plain A,B,C,D,ect (martial law, anarchy control, what ever else they call they back up military planning) and when those collapse I’m sure there will be ex generals who have access to the piles of weapons and vehicles left in the armories around the country and who have years of training in organizing small armies.

And then I’m sure the Red forces will send in left wing mercenaries to organize small armies who will fight tooth and nail to try to take control of any scattered military structure left and try to take power.

So all these people with an SKS and 2000 rounds of bullets that think they will defend a piece of land in anarchy are delusional.

If you want to know the basic pattern of government collapses you just have to look at the many countries where it has happened Latin America and South America, are great examples.

You get roving bands of small armies with absolutely no laws to keep them in check that go door to door and take what they want.

Personally I am going to be flexible and try to adapt to the changes. When people in Colombia, Nicaragua or what every unstable country know things are collapsing they liquate every thing and wait to see what will happen and try to have the most options open for when it does.

It just a few governments not the end of the world.

I feel positive about the changes that are coming I don’t think the system is going that great and I would love to see some changes. At the rate the system has been going a lot of things I hate have just been flourishing and seeming like they will never die maybe they will now.

I just hope this doesn’t throw back all the positive progress civilization has made. So mostly I am going to try to be positive and think of positive change.

 

while whats coming may not be the end of the world,i assure you whats coming will be the end of a lifestyle many if not all have known.at the very least for a decade to come..

we are headed into a depression.that is unavoidable. our dollar will crash,that is all but unavoidable.

im not going to even bother giving my opinion past that,for one thing soomewhere in here im sure i already have.for nother i see no need to debate reality at this point,my time can be spent better in other ways.

i do feel its safe to say we are entering into a period in america that will make the great depression look like a mild recession.i dont think 90% of americans will be living anywhere close to the same lifestyle they enjoy now in 5 years from now.

That was an interesting view and info from a socialistic collapse little biased against American life and structure, but realistic.

I think the point about massive migrations from suburbia is very true, in the U.S. our urban sprawl has been built for cheap gas and is completely unsustainable when that is gone.

And the amount of homelessness would be unbelievable due to the housing structure (Most homes owned by banks)

I disagree about the U.S. not having the recourses to recover we won’t have stable neighbors but we do have a very rich country that can be self sufficient with some work and change, Change being the big factor.

I find it crazy the amount of trust and belief Americans and Europeans have in the governments. They are sitting around waiting on delay speeches counting on the gov to prop up their falling apart life styles.

People are going to be really shocked and angry when they figure out it's all a lie.

This is a great thread. I believe that the system will probably collapse around 2012... that's when shit will hit the fan, and a revolution will happen. Look at what the world is coming to... war, the colapse of the economy, genocide, torture, the coming age of aquarius, indigo and crystal children, people raising their awareness of the world around them, rebellion, dissent, etc. Its all coming to a head, this revolution, that may or may not be good... I'm hoping good.

hello hippiehillbilly- you are great- i read ur post about sept 15th and a major event in the financial world would happen- I was waiting for weeks and then... Sept 15th Lehman Bros went bankrupt - I got chills. the next date was Oct 7th- PLEASE tell me what do u think will happen? I wonder how long we have until everything fails and our cash is worthless? Please give me some insight. I look up to you posts- you are a true patriot/American. tHANKS!

im no expert,i am just a information nut.
the way i understand it is this is the week the third quarter ends and all the numbers are going to come out,there is something about hedge funds having to reveal there books this week as well. a lot of financial news coming out this week.

the october 7 date was came to by the web bots,from what i understand there predictions up till now,while vague have always coincided with a event that could be considered to make there predictions correct.

just do a search of web bots to learn more.

if you want a prediction from me,
sometime in october something bad is going to take place to start the ball really rolling down hill,by spring this country is going to be in a very very bad way...this is just a gut hunch came to by studying the events over the last year.nothing scientific about it,just a gut feeling.

if i run across anything specific in my web surfing i will be sure and post it here...
