Buy some guns. Keep a fair amount of cash. Stockpile a bit of gas / water / food / ammo, & be prepared to fight till the death.

Well this might be the ONLY thing we could possibly hope for to mitigate this eventual scenario.

But will we have enough time to get it together?

Will Martial Law come one day without warning, before people have a chance to organize and make a difference?

We are wasting away our chances right now. Things, like you said, will get worse before anything gets better.

I have faith in HUMANITY itself, not Americans who've been so brainwashed they don't really know what's coming down... except for a few... but that won't be enough.

Although, it does seem people are getting MORE pissed off every day.

Wait until the mortgage crisis REALLY hits, early next year.

MILLIONS OF PEOPLE WILL LOSE THEIR HOMES! You ain't seen nothing yet!

Perhaps then, all those Yuppies, Zuppies and Puppies will finally wake up and smell the shit that has been piling up in America, cause we've been too lazy to take out the trash and flush the shit down the toilet.

But by then it may be too late...

9/14/2007 - US Air Force stands down once again, while terrorists attack the country! Get ready!

2, i supposse its back to usin a axe and a hoe.

3, oh geeze what would i do with the 2 hours a day i use the web.

4, im pretty fuckin sure noone will be panicking whithin a few miles of here,an since we wont have any gas,i guess we cant join them.

    5, refer to number 4.

6,im pretty sure they will be busy with the city folk,we have plenty of ammo,we can take care of ourselves.

so to answer your question further, wed hunker down, contact the neighbors we trust, set up a defencive perimeter an then pretty much go about our daily lives minus power and fuel..

I just hope, the time frame between instances of system deterioration and catastrophic system failure can not be estimated and deterioration has already started...with current unstable political situation around the globe and much talked about war and crisis I strongly feel tht its slowly going towards depression.I read ppl buyin guns in the forum.. I'd say just to be prepared to work hand in hand and ride hard.
Safety is the word they have been using stretagically...people buying guns is evident enough tht they have suceeded.

try to dig more about defense authorization act 2007 and more.

whn we discuss about system we should consider third front into discussion along with usa and eu and which is asia.

I have been, as most ppl from the 50s, knowing that there would come a time where we will all face..The Change of the System of Things. I was raised as a survivalist.

We are all going to need to know how to survive off the land and we are all going to have to know how/be willing to defend ourselves.

It's been brewing 50 yrs or more.. I would hesitate to say that it is all doomsday propaganda. Everyoe knows there is fixin' to be a change. Did anyone know that they are making Chinese a manatory second language in some schools across the nation.

When it goes down.. everyone will be a target.

So what I would do is like HHB says and hunker down, be perpared..stock up on can goods and water, batteries and fuel.. invest in some solar panals and dig a water well, learn what grows wild in your area that is edible.. plant root crops, they last the longest, start saving seeds to plant, get water purification tablets. get a crankup short wave radio, fishing poles a rifle(s) and ammo.

Have blankets, extra clothes/shoes/boots..food/water and medical supplies ready packed in case you have to leave.

I have a donkey, so I can pack my ass up and move if I have to.

It will be the ones in the cities that will have it the worst, rioting, looting and killing.. it ainta gonna be pretty.

I was in LA in the late 50s during the Watts riots, I was a child but I remember.. I remember my daddy placing a 22 semi automatic in my hand and assigned me to 'my post' upstairs at my bedroom window. Both my sisters had their assigned post as did my mother.. my daddy had taught us all to shoot and survival tactics.

We watched the horror on the TV as they burned and looted and raped and piliged. The whole district was in flames..we were close but not in Watts.. it could have reached us in no time at all tho, to close for comfort.. and my father wasn't taking any chances.. Thankfully we never had to defend ourselves, it didn't reach us.. we may not have been here if it had taken place today.. so much more violence now days and WMD that every street punk owns.

All I can say is be prepared for anything. All you ones that have never had to face chaos and do not have a clue about what is inevetable should realy do a little reserach and at least be aware that it could possibably happen in our lifetime.

We can learn a lot from our neighbors in the republics of the former Soviet Union, who have survived such a total system collapse,

I spent some time in the republic of Georgia recently and found:

Supermarkets empty or gone, but farmers markets and small individually-owned shops thriving...

Electricity and running water available only occasionally (at the whims of whoever happened to be controling the switches/valves at the moment), and people finding creative ways to use it when it was available and do without when it wasn't.

No radios, stereos or TVs but blenty of homemade music could be heard from candlelit houses.

Some crime, but mostly of the Robin Hood/Jesse James variety. A friend had her car battery and spare tire stolen; the thieves had disconnected them carefully saving & replacing the bolts and hardware and had made sure she knew that her tire and battery would be replaced for a small amount of money.

Some groups were armed and militant, some unarmed and pacifistic, but all were neighborly and cooperative with all who were neighborly and cooperative toward them.

In short, I saw lots of local culture, neighborliness and creativity thriving within a decaying infrastructure.

money becomes worthless- i think thats excellent because i believe money condones all the evil in the world.
gas prices soar- okay good, now everyone can walk everywhere! yeah, that benefits both us and the planet!
the web shuts down- okaY thats kinda bad i cant get in the forums!:(
people protest- we should its our right, i'd be out there protesting too!
they lock us up- thats their only resource since they know we are right. i wouldn't mind they have to let us out eventually right?
number six- okay that really blows! no question!!

With an internet war - the uber nerds will win. They are clever and flexable and have generally been a step ahead of 'the man'. Sure joe blow windoze, you and me, might be effected but I say in the long run - the subversive geeks will win out.

Part of me is sorta sad that the attitude of hunker down and shoot the rest seems like it's necessary and in some cases I can certainly understand why but shit...helping out some strangers in a time of crisis seems like the humane thing to do.

What DID happen just before 9/14 was the Israeli attack on Syria.

What DIDN'T happen, which the world was holding its collective breath for, was a response from Syria and Iran.

Apparently the Israeli attack was so successful, not just in destroying the target(s), but in completely disabling the Syrian air defense system.

That caused Syria and Iran to pause, and their silence is still deafening.

Today Iran has claimed their FINAL response to the Israeli aggression and US position will be delivered on Oct 12th... After Ramadan ends.

So WE WERE ->THIS<- CLOSE to WWIII last week!!!

Only the Israeli's unexpected success and lack of response from Syria and Iran has held it off...

BTW there has been a media blackout on the Israeli attack. No one is sure just what was attacked. At first it was supposed to have been an attack on the new advanced missile system just installed in Syria. Then it was said it was on a nuclear installation in Syria. Others have said it was a place where chemical and possibly biological weapons are stored.

In fact, there was an accident in July, possibly at the same location, where dozens of Syrians AND Iranians were killed when a chemical warhead containing deadly sarin gas was being loaded on a missile. More than 2 dozen Iranian technicians were allegedly killed. So they say...

The 700 Club is pushing this story: 'It was a nuclear installation run by North Koreans but funded by the Iranians.'

& I'm with HHB & SH-stock up your survivalist gear now. The worst that can happen is that you'll some extra supplies hanging around. Our plan here is to join forces with the neighbors (who are some very rowdy folks) and form an alliance to protect the neighborhood. We may even extend the alliance to the ranchers that surround our little neighborhood (which only consists of about 10 or so homes); cuz you know the governmental powers that be will try to seize control of all of the food sources 'for our own good'...

US$ dropping further against Euro, just broke thru the $1.40 barrier for first time in history!

Now at $1.404 per Euro. I remember when it cost about $0.80 per Euro... not long ago. This is what BUSHIT has done to the US dollar. It's now worth almost HALF what it used to just a few years ago.
