What Will You Do When The System Collapses?

The “system’ to what most people refer to is really many systems or patterns that are intertwined that make most of our daily lives function.

When credit and financial systems break down and food supplies and gas can’t get bought and sold in cycles so stores close and don’t know when the next shipments will food come in.

Then if Gov, State, County and City go bankrupt.
Then they can’t pay county or city workers, then garbage doesn’t get pick up, water systems don’t get maintained, electric system don’t get maintained and those are just the basics.
So the toilets don’t flush the water doesn’t come out of the sink and the streets get full of biohazard garbage.

Personally I am hoping this is just a peaceful economic deflation and we can adapt to this and just be poor for a few years.

But this is a pattern that we have not gone through yet and have nothing to compare it to.

People of Europe and America mostly think that their “system” is magic and can never fall apart, they are strong systems but they are taking a massive financial beating right now and it is getting worse and will continue to get worse.

I am hoping the basic systems won’t break but I’m going to prepare for the coming storm.

I’m not interested in waiting on a street corner to fight for food and water thrown from an army truck that might not show up.

I have read hhb's stuff for the last few years, and ALWAYS finds it interesting. HHB and I may not always agreed and every so often used to get on each others nerves years ago. But basically, HHB is 1 brilliant hard-working person & more people should be like HHB & dilli.

Right now, I'm wondering if he has any Mormons/Latter Day Saints in his family....only because that church has been teaching u to prepare for the worst...stocking up on your own supplies instead of waiting for a gov't hand-out.

Guess not...personally I am doing fine. I am better off financially right now then I have been in the last few years.
Course if for whatever reason I woke up tomorrow and found out I was fired....well that would be a whole different story.

We have been ok so far...but Winters here have been naturally slower for yrs...no matter what the economy is doing. They just don't like the cold....and we have 30% chance of snow tonight.
