I bought "Thumper's Adventures" or some shit like that for my niece. she is till about a month and two weeks from being born and a bit longer before she can read, but Ive got her library started.
Got The giving tree, hungry hungry caterpillar, I'll love you forever and A medieval feast.
the book wishlist I created for her is big already. when Im done with her baby shower and birthday I will start buying books again..
I told her mom that instead of getting her videos of characters, I wanted her to get books. I think TV rots kids brains from an early age. ADD my ass.

Well I recently stole "One Hundred Years of Solitude" by Gabriel Garcia Marquez...

I think the last two books I actually paid for were "Stanley Kubrick: The Complete Films" and Steven Pinker's "The Stuff of Thought"

I was brought up to believe stealing is wrong. Yet I have stolen many books. My favourite steal was Enduring Love.

I actually bought "Steal This Book" by Abbie Hoffman. How ironic is that?

Just ordered The General in his Labyrinthe by Gabriel Garcia Marquez for my Dad's birthday and an anthology of debut fiction because it contains the first chapter of my new novel and my granny wanted a copy. Awww....

I got Steal This Movie for one pound, which was almost a steal, only I still haven't got round to watching it, so in essence Tesco stole from me....

Well for school I bought some classics, "Utopia", "Candide" etc, but the last ones I bought on my own were "Manson, in His Own Words" and "Lamb, The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal"

I love that book:) It was the first book I could read all the way through on my own.* In many ways it shaped my whole outlook on life.

    Yay for books!

My last: "Song of the Dodo: Island Biogeography in an Age of Extinction." Yeah, I'm a dork.

Duck, how'd you like Arkham Asylum? I liked it a little less than I wanted to.
