Yeah, it doesn't sound like accurate information. Benzos are prescribed pretty openly, and I have never heard this. This is information that doctors would be required to tell patients. Also, I doubt they would even prescribe something that could do this in as little as 6 months...considering benzos are usually taken long-term.

Some information and conclusions about this "myth" it seems.

    Another source of conclusions.

Based on what I have read, it's a controversial topic as it stands right now. Some studies claim it does, but they have no solid proof, so they can't release information like that, without backup.

Seems like these people doing these studies have been trying to prove this since around 2001, and have yet to come up with any solid evidence backing up the claims.

I personally am not worried, and I don't think anybody that is taking benzo's should be. As soon as there is any proof that comes up, it will be released, and they have been trying to find proof for quite a while. It's probably some anti-drug propaganda team trying to get prescription drugs that are widely abused out of the hands and reach of children.

If the high is that great for you, go for it. Personally it's not even as good as alcohol for me, and with these potential costs? Not even close to worth it. Better off abusing oxy's, at least the high is better.
