for your info ... where I live is not necessarily my culture. if you actually read my post you would see that most my life i lived in the States so I do think I know what the hell I'm talking about. and NO maybe the crimes were not committed with guns obtained legally but SOMEONE obtained them legally and they were there to be stolen.

i also never bashed Americans though there are many Americans that do desire to keep their guns and guns do nothing but cause more trouble than they are worth, no matter whose hands they are in.

First of all Brtiain is not "my" country, my home is this planet and any human being suffering or harmed anywhere on this orb is of my concern, because they are like me, human, and most probably come from the same place. Every single person living has the right to take an interest in what happens overseas, in my opinion, and speak out against wrongs. Considering all the hate filled rhetoric I see you post, it pains me to say this but I completely agree with you.

I agree with this statement as well, but please don't lump us all within the majority, most of the Americans on this forum are not the majority.

I agree with all of this as well, my problem with you is that you seem to generalize too much, America and the American people have become two very different things, and I take offense when you lump me and all other Americans in with the bullshit, we're not all like that.

 

Obviously we in the UK and Europe have experience of strict gun control and the relative almost total freedom from gun crime problems and exceptionally low homicide rates, so British and European opinions on the issue of gun control are valuable and important ones to be expressed and I hope our experience is heard loud and clear and that our advice gets heeded in the States.
