This has to be the funniest thing I have heard (or read) come from a person in a while. Not so funny I fell from my chair laughing, but pretty god damn funny. I'm sure I will wake up with a smile on my face tomorow morning.

ok.. i have replied to a few of these "offensive" threads.. i replied for the sake of sharing my opinion about them... and yes i was probably one of the people who sounded like.. hey cool whatever floats your boat.. or whatever.. but if you read them in depth you will see i was not saying this. my main concern... is that while there is of course a line that needs to be drawn on certain things...it is also a real shame when people react to others opinions and lifestyles (right or wrong) with hateful accusations.. instead of giving helpful advice and opinions. of course i see why someone may get a little frustrated when something that seems so bizarre (bestiality for example) or something that is completely obvious to most of us as being a very destructive wrong (true pedophilia)... is responded to with what borders on apathy or even going so far as a thumbs up because someone seems to be just trying to pose as being openminded for sake of looking more "hippy" or whatever.. thing is... accusing someone of doing this is just an accusation. sometimes people really are trying to give some thought on the subject and give their opinion.. whether fully developed or not ... for the sake of learning and discovering .. where the true morals lie... behind the masks... pedophilia and bestiality are wrong wrong wrong and sick sick sick.... there are morals which these assumptions are based on... and that is where you get to the heart of the matter... for example.. there are laws... legal lines drawn... one being 18 as the legal age of consent... there is a reason for this law... it is the age where the law feels pretty safe in assuming that a person is old enough to consent ... to me this does not mean that a 17 year old or 16 year old is necessarily too young to be mature enough to consent... but to be safe i do not condone sleeping with someone under the legal age. the point is... the moral in itsself is not... if a person is not 18 it is a horrible sin to sleep with them... the moral behind the issue... is a mixture of many things... for example.. preventing those who are not fully matured from being harmed by those who have the " advantage " of a further developed mind... by manipulation or rape etc etc. i do not think that replying to comments such as ... i have let a dog lick me or whatever the comment is... with ... well as long as the dog consented and you didnt hurt anyone... go for it.. is necessarily just trying to pose as being openminded .. i think what it really is... is trying to reply with the closest thing you can think of to an answer which considers different sides of the topic at hand... and just giving your opinion. dont bash those who are openminded just cuz it seems they are doing it for the sake of openminded appearance.. sometimes it is really for the sake of coming closer to the true issue at hand finding out what the true issue is.. and searching for a solution or answer. pedophilia IS wrong in my opinion.. and things like bestiality i find are not such good ideas.. but bashing either the people who really do have such lifestyles.. or those who try to make a point based on what these people have said whether for or against... does not advance the search for growth. even when people do things that are obvious to others as being "perverse" or wrong... even these people need to be treated with love and in such a way that the opinion you have to give is one they can actually learn from or at least listen to without being distracted by all the accusations, derogatory words, generalizations, twisting around of words etc etc. let us all try not for the sake of looking like we are down to earth but for the sake of development of human kind in a positive direction.. try a little harder to be more careful with our words, give opinions not for sake of having an opinion but with the aim of learning, and get to the root of the problem at hand instead of just licking the icing off the cake.

Man All this debating I think its time for a smoke out break:) .
But seriously I have seen one of my neighbors "doing" his dog on his front lawn. The cops drove by and arrested him. I DID talk and laugh about it but, I now realize it was because he's a fat drunk piece of doodoo that can't get any from his wife (not that being drunk is a bad thing).

Just had to get my 2 cents in,

I couldn't agree more with you Moonshyne, this type of rot is quite prevalent on the 'Sex & Love' forum. I couldn't believe the number of people who were sympathetic towards some-one whom I regarded as either a troll or some sicko posting about an incestuous relationship. Most responding members engaged brain at some point and discouraged any continuation of said relationship.

As long as there's no kids involved I'm all for it.If you love your sister or your dog as long as your sis or dog is happy, what's the problem?Free thoughts and free speech.Besides personnally I'd rather know who these people are.

A troll is any-one who seeks attention (usually negative) by posting out-rageous stuff intended to get an expected reaction. I was referring to the person who wrote the post about her/its incestuous relationship - fictitious or otherwise.

No that is a spammer. A troll is someone who posts something of an insulting nature in attempt to start trouble, unprovoked. She did nothing wrong by posting that material. If it said "I fucked my brother you fuckers" that would indeed be something of a troll nature. She did not break any rules and did nothing wrong

DarkLunacy, you're getting into semantics now, I know my terminology and the true definition of 'troll' and I'm not going to split hairs over what does and doesn't constitute a troll. The impression I get is that you are basically a decent person with good intentions at heart and many of your posts on other topics make good sense but I don't think you are showing a great deal of wisdom in relation to this topic. When you've lived longer, you'll realize that it isn't a weakness to admit to being wrong occasionally - that's how people learn and develop new ideas.

My whole objection to the "whatever floats your boat" line is that it doesn't do justice to the hippy perspective on things. The perceptive, rational, independent thinking that was applied when hippies rebelled against the Vietnam War and burned their draft cards is an example of open-mindedness with intellect and vision.
