I voted for folk, but it's very much a toss up between folk music and acid rock...I can't decide.

This doesn't really make sense (it does, but it doesn't) because alot of these genres overlap quite greatly...and jam bands generally include everything.

I hate genres. I mean The Doors can be put into Psychedelic rock and Acid Rock and Classic Rock. Personally I'd hate for my band to be put into a genre. Thats why I made a genre up for us. Animal Music.

Some of my favourite bands are Creedence, The Doors, Grateful Dead, Crazy Horse, The Stones, Kings Of Leon, Neil Young, Bob Dylan etc etc. You can decide what genres they fit into and answer the poll for me if you wish :)

thank god someone realizes this...a jam band is basically the best genre there is becaue you can play about 1 billion genres and still be categorized as a jam band, ya know?

i like country, folk, jam, psychadelic etc. basically everything up there....oh yeah...i didn't see fucking reggae!

Hmm.. too bad mod/british invasion music isn't on the list, because i think it embodies the rebellious hippie spirit :)

Edit: sorry, i guess Modern 60s Retro Bands is that. I thought by modern you meant today's bands, like The Strokes or something.
