1) Counting Crows - Mr Jones 2) Morrissey - Sister, i'm a poet 3) Anything by David Bowie 4) IAMX - Mercy
I'm not sure how well I can answer this, but I'll give it my best shot. 1)pretty much all music that I listen to on a regular basis makes me happy. I love music in general, but I'll give you some examples as to what I listen to on a regular basis: Wherever I may roam - Metallica; Thunderstruck - AC/DC; anything by AC/DC really; most of Nickelback's music; anything by The Tragically Hip; Nazareth; Led Zeppelin; Queen; ZZ Top. I'm sure there's more, but that's all that comes to mind immediately. 2)all music that I listen to makes me think of one thing or another, I don't really have any examples for that one at the moment. 3)This is a harder one for me, there isn't really any music that makes me angry, but there is music that I listen to in order to calm myself down when I'm feeling angry. Some examples: Du Hast - Rammstein; Paranoid - Black Sabbath; Crazy Train - Ozzy Osbourne; Run to the Hills - Iron Maiden. When I'm angry, I tend to prefer music with a quick beat. For some reason that calms me down more than anything. 4)There is only one song that comes to mind here. It is not a song I like, nor is it one that I listen to on a regular basis, or ever for that matter. The song is Amazing Grace, and the reason it makes me sad is because it was played at the funeral of a loved one. I'm sure that's way more than you ever wanted to know, but there it is anyway
Before I go into my four selections, I think there may be a misunderstanding among those answering the OP. Number 3 could be referring to a song not that you dislike, but one that raises a sense of injustice or indignation within the listener. Here goes: 1. Time Is Tight - Booker T. & the MG's Something about this instrumental makes me feel that I am in the right place at the right time no matter what is going on within or without. 2. Like a Rollin' Stone - Jimi Hendrix Dylan wrote it, Hendrix lived it and I can dig it. 3. Eve of Destruction - Barry McGuire 'Hate your next door neighbor, but don't forget to say grace' Hypocrisy at its worst. 4. Wishin' You Were Here - Chicago The title from a Hall & Oates song could define this one: She's Gone. The flip side to number 3 could have been For What It's Worth.
