actually id pick a taylor swift or annoying bieber song instead because if my family knows and follows my wishes there should not be a funeral ....so id like them to play some shit that would annoy them

 

I have a wooden viking ship that I built and well I hope all my ashes fit in it, I've hollowed it out. I want it set afloat on a lake of my choice, maybe the lake near Externsteine. Set afloat and burned and sunk.

I don't know if my family would have a funeral if I donate my body to science but I don't care what music they play, I will be dead and oblivious.

 

I must get the forms filled in to donate my body parts to science.

I leave the choice of any music to my family and friends - I think funerals are more for those left behind than the deceased. Definitely though, I don't want any religious elements - or if they have to have them might as well be done by Wiccans . I certainly don't want any 'religious professionals' getting in on the act.

just because i plan on watching my funeral from the nearby bushes, and i wonder if anyone will catch on if i drop a few hints.

 

I used to always say Nothing Else Matters by Metallica. My feelings of the band have changed a lot but damn that's a good song.

Now when I think about it, I don't want to choose just a song or two to sum up my life. I dont want a traditional funeral either. I'd like for my friends and family to have a big blowout party. With either live music or a play list of my favorite music. I don't want to be on display in some strange funeral parlor, ran by some boring stranger.I want to be sent off from a familiar place. Bon fires and beers on tap.

i don't really think i know anyone who can afford to.
i don't really expect to. the v.a. will probably do with my remains whatever they feel like.

 

If I got my way I would let the ones I would leave behind listen for at least 2 hours to some great tunes. But since taste differs I can't see most of my family enjoying that. Not sure that's enough reason to not plan it though
