Alzheimer's Association forum. My Mom had Alzheimer's and I was helping take care of her.. The forum was very helpful. After she died I needed something different and my brother Tyrsonswood suggested this place. I have been here ever since.

I was on Reddit for a while - trying to track down a very wanted fugitive. Once the suspect was convicted, the site got generic and slow.

 

Well, to make a long story short, I got banned from a small forum I was a member of for no apparent reason. I was not given any reason at all, just couldn't log in one day. Fortunately I have the contact details of the people I care about from there.

 

I never understood why the Candy girl left and took some people with her. She was an active poster. I went over there once, but I saw that the Gorilla was in there---nope! Not interested. This is my Net home for over 20 years and I'm not leaving 'till I go toes up!!

Apart from things like FB, Reddit, and Discord, I used to be all over those IMDB message boards as well as lots of very niche message boards for pop culture (Star Wars, horror movies, nerdy stuff like that).
