What should I know before going to Cap d'Agde?

I am interested in going to Cap d'Agde next summer.
I'm a handsome guy in his 20's, looking to explore and have fun.
I've never done this before.
What should I know? Has anyone been there that could share some wisdom?
What's the best place to stay? What should I watch out for?

Cap d'Agde caters for the more pure naturists and for naturist swingers too, which from your other posts I guess is what you're looking for. So research the place and make sure you go to the right beaches and venues inside the complex. Remember though, swinging is always a lot easier when you have a partner. Else you're looking for someone who is after group fun with singles.

 

I've been to Cap d'Agde...It is a wonderful experience for both nudists and swingers. You can keep both venues separate or combine them. One thing that took me by surprise is the fluid sexual nature of the swingers. I enjoyed my time at the beach and related beach venues, restaurants, banks, grocery stores, and even barbershop. The night club scene and dunes are where swinging is most active. If you are heterosexual be aware that others of the same sex will want to have sexual relations with you. Violent rejection is not tolerated and can be met by disapproval from other people with name-calling and even chasing you away. A mild "no thank you" etc often is all that's needed. Otherwise, close your eyes and enjoy it, cause those are the only two acceptable options. The same goes for heterosexual participation. Either you are accepted or not, you never participate unless invited. Voyeurism is common and if you are doing it in the open expect an audience. Sex with minors is forbidden, that said, I did see young preteen and teens roaming around in the dune area looking at people having sex. My advice is to go there with an open mind and be aware that French law still applies when there.

 

I have no problem with replying kindly such as "no, thank you" to requests. I'm not the type of person to reply harshly.
What sort of transport could I get from eg. the airport?
Do I need to know much of the langauge or will Google Translate be enough?

 

I'm just trying to prepare myself for all the edge cases so that I don't look like an idiot stranded somewhere, having no idea what to do.

Thanks @Candy Gal obviously Studland is not far for both of us, I go there often (when it's warm enough!), maybe see you there one day, but I do enjoy exploring other unofficial quieter beaches sometimes.
