but yeah... wait till college to grow dreads. that would seriously be the best few years in anyone's lifetime to grow dreads lol. that and when you retire. tldr means "too long didnt read"
I was planning on waiting until college in the first place I wonder if my parents would like the surprise???? When you retire would be yeah but thats a hell of a long time. I wonder if private vet practices care about dreads? Its basically like being a doctor... I know in some professions people dont give a shit as long as your good at what you do. TLDR. Now thats just fucking retarded. If you didnt read, then I dont care, you dont have to make some useless post and take up space just to let me know your to lazy to read it.
Thank you for yet another useless post. Its ok it just puts my thread higher up on the page for more people to see. :coffee:
you aint ready for dreads. i can't even go into the details b/c it's been said so many times before. just don't get em. get your stupid car and tattoos or whatever. also, props to np. and vet school is harder to get accepted into than med school. so....yeah.
no, i think im getting dreads. and what ever else i want. and no its not harder to get into. Just harder TO do.
oh i forgot, you're 17 and you know everything! actually, coming from my own experience in the field, vet schools are harder to get into. this is evidenced simply by the fact that there are less vet schools than there are med schools. also, it is harder to be a vet as you work on more than one species. the vet that i take my babies too has locks, so does his wife (who acts as his assistant).
Well, what ever you think about me has nothing to do with my hair style, so i must know everything? Thats why it is harder to be a vet. Because you work on all species. Isnt that common sense? And no, its not particularly harder for me to get in because there is a vet school a few hours from my house at a big university, and they favor/prefer students from the state I live.
Yes, i do. How does that make them excuses? Im assuming your talking about my conversation about why its easier for me to get into vet school? Its not like i made that shit up. And its not an excuse, its fact.
im pretty sure there wasn't supposed to be a step two. it seems to me that you have made up some sort of decision about your hair, this is not the first post i have seen in here that is the exact same as this, "my parents suck and wont let me get dreads. what should i do" to be honest with you, if i was you, i wouldn't listen to anybody on here, its your life and yours to mess up, we might give you advise based on experience but as you have read, people have had both positive and negative experiences in this situation. for me, i started growing my hair again when i got to college, i started my dreads half way through my second year, im now at the end of my third year and they are doing great. by the time i finish college and try to work professionally in my industry they will be somewhat professional looking. This was how it was for me, if i was in your shoes i would take the car. my parents didn't even give me the steam off their piss so i think your getting way more from them than you deserve (not a negative comment, just that they dont have to give it to you)
Yes, but only because people like you keep posting shit that has absolutely nothing to do with the topic.
