What should I do on my day off?

Now that I am a working boy again after being jobless for two weeks I think today is a well deserved day off after working 4 straight days ... What should I do? It's a bit nipply here in so cal this late morning.

 

I would miss my favorite pastime after 4 long days, so I would spend most of the cold day listening to a few operas.

 

First, you should get some Taco Bell...if you haven't already

 

and then go strolling around Ikea.

I think you should go to work on your day off

 

dream your own dreams, and then follow them.
creative imagination is what makes us human.
grab a blank piece of paper and make lines on it.
doesn't matter if you think it looks like anything.

pictures, words, sounds, whatever way captures what you feel would make the world in which you live,
a rewarding place to do so.

or of course, you can just look for and enjoy where other people have done so.

feed a feral creature. walking is nice, if you can find a place that isn't completely surrounded by pavement and humans.

visit a japanese garden and have a cup of tea.

or coffee and cookies at home or at a local mom and pop espresso shop.

 

On your day off- three hits of acid.
Call in sick the next day, to rest up. Have a good time!

 

"good time" is a very individual thing.
it doesn't magically come from chemistry.
but if that's where you find it, forgive my doubts, but enjoy what YOU enjoy.
(not what someone else tells you to expect to be enjoyable)

 

No more taco bell for me. Tday for lunch is a salad and a sandwich.
