lol. idk. only way my mom could win would be taking everything away from me and keeping me in my room and that still might not work.

i dont rely on my cell phone. its more of a toy for me. i ONLY use it to text my friends and call my parents sometimes when im out (because they make me)

and i just took it back, it was sitting on my parents bed all day yesterday and i would go check it. and today i just took it.

Move out. My mother never let me have dreads until I moved out. She said they were disgusting and I'd never find a husband with dreads.

So I moved out. Granted, my family have COMPLETELY cut me out of their lives because of how I wanted to live I am now dead to them. But whatever I have dreads AND a husband. Yes a fucking husband that I pulled with my dreads in. If you're cool with wrecking how your family sees you then move out then you can do whatever the fuck you like.

:) Well they were sucky people. Obsessed with how others percieved them and desperate to "live the dream". I was regularly beaten if I didn't wear what they wanted me to wear. They have a lot of mental disturbances do my parents. I was always the "bad" kid. Sure, I never kept my room clean but I always did very well in school. The only good thing my parents have taught me is how not to raise my own future kids and to not whore my daughters out to paedophiles.

Sorry to go off topic. Your hairs your hair you should do what ever you want with it at 16.

It seems to me as though, your mum cares more of what other people think about you. I don't think parents should stop their children expressing themselves, when they do I think, from experience, they erode their child's trust. She may just feel embarrassed by your hair. I don't know. But ya know, sooner or later you'll have to give in to how corporations want you to be so I don't see why she should deny you a few years of freedom. If you get me.

Cool! Then all I can say is just keep ignoring her. Eventually she should give up and pray that this is just a phase you're going through.

hey kids! ahha. well.... ive escaped hair cuts so far.
now my friends are just telling me to get it cut (because they want me to drive them, but i cant now. even tho they talk shit about my car). anyway. my grandma was over today and her and my mom were talking. my grandma was totally on my side because she likes long hair so that was pretty sweet, but my moms still stupid and basically ignored everything she said.

then, this is how my mom is, shes like "once he gets his own job he can do what he wants with his hair"

i was like "ok so if i get a job at marc's i dont have to cut my hair?"

and shes like. "No, you cant get a job there"

me and my grandma "Why not!?!?"

my mom "Because they wont hire you!"

    us - "Who says???"

    her "ME"

then my grandma went on giving her an example of someone with long hair who got a job blah blah. and also my mom made up some shit, if you havent noticed everytime i "debunk" her reasons to make me get a hair cut she just makes up another.

then shes seriously says, "His teachers dont respect him"

and my grandma asks if i know anyone with long hair i was like YES ( like of course)

and my mom chimes in "None of the good ones"

and on the teacher thing i dont feel like quoting everything but i basically said: What the fuck!?!? how would you even know?!?? and sure, they do. EVERY FUCKING PERSON HAS LONG HAIR.

and also my grandma talked about how my hair looks fine its not in my eyes like my mom says. My moms retarded shes like you can go where ever and get it how you want, but i have to cut it so its out of my eyes?? and above my ears (........ defeats the purpose of long hair.)
and the fact that my dad had hair down to his shoulders when my parents were dating...

anyway. my mom says im getting a hair cut tomorrow.

then she said when im 18 i can do what ever and my grandma was like yeah he will, but your not gonna like it.
    and its true.

so idk. should i do it? since im obviously not able to get dreads anyway, id keep my hair like this then let it grow out as im about to become 18 (id probably start it getting long around this december, becuase my 18th bday is in may 2010
but, id get it "cut" as long? as i can. - get very little off.
id be like. ok can you cut this cause i need a hair cut but keep it long. i can take myself up there.

lol the one time my mom sent me a text shes like , "and yes ALL OF THEM" like she read my mind.

so thats all thats up right now.....

i cant wait till im 18!!! that will be fun. :D

sorry about the short novel i wrote up... :hat:

i have fairly long hair...it falls down to the tip of my chin...

i like to think (and many people have told me) that im a responsible, respectable, caring, upstanding young man...

so, if your mom is sayin that long hair makes you a worthless slob, i'm slightly offended! (though honestly not surprised :p) lol...have her talk to my mom about that, my mommy is very proud of me :D even with my long hair (that she also wants me to cut haha, but she just likes the way it looks when its shorter)

.... my hair doesnt even cover all of my ears, and its down past my eye only if i pull on it. otherwise its above my eyes.

and you should be offended. her reasoning is stupid as what ever you can think of.

n when i was arguing with her she said people wont respect me i said, No, you just expect people to stereo type me, like you do to other people. (if i wasnt her kid she would be like. Thats a punk kid)

but i have to get off now my brother is going on... respond later!
