Seems to me the person we should all REALLY be wary of is whoever persuaded him that haircut enhances his 'fanny-magnetism' and makes him look like a true leader......whoever it was-he's got balls the size of spacehoppers and HE'S the dangerous one!
The whole U.S. military wears that haircut. I think Hitler made it popular, and yeah, he was a little dangerous.
....that's totally NOT a hilter 'do. It's a very exaggerated kim il sung. He just had a kind of normal-ish haircut, and kim jong il exaggerated it, and kim jong un, being illigitimate and all, really exaggerated it. Having the exaggerated haircut of the eternal leader has become how you prove that you can lead north korea.
Maybe not quite as high and tight, but the same white walls. http://adolfhitlerbestpictures.blogspot.com/2009/12/adolf-hitler-pictures-with-his-generals.html Check out pic 14 of 24.
The man needs to shit or get off the pot. Talk is cheap. He isn't goping to do anything or he would have done it without trying to scare everybody by telling them what he is going to do. The element of surprise.
I see what you mean, but the essence of the korean haircuts is hairspray. I think stalin started the big-haired dictator thing, and mao copied it, but with his own flair. Kim il sung went somewhere between the two, with his own flair, and kim jong il copied that, but exaggerated it. Kim jung un just exaggerated it more, and I think the shaved sides are in some attempt to look modern (and like he's down with the kids... the cool ones, of course) or something like that. It gives him distinctness, while his silhouette is still just a slightly more chunky version of kim jong il. They're careful about breaking the mold, he's got to elicit feelings about his father for the cult to be able to use him as a leader. At this point name recognition and look are critical, because he's a nobody who never did any thing, and was never a public figure until he was in the big chair. That's why he's pulling all this big talk, to try to cement himself in power with more than just his hair. His father sometimes had the sides a bit shaved too, but the most important part is the hairspray.
Yeah, being Fat is cool in NK too-shows how well their economy doing- Hip-Kims the most obese guy in the country.
