My pois order came in the mail, three weeks earlier than expected!!! YAHOOOO!!! And after visiting five hardware stores, I finally found the correct tubing for my hula hoops! Yeah!!! GREAT DAY! And in an hour I leave to see the olympic torch!!!
Just reading through this thread makes ya feel good. Today I found a website which supplies lots of parts for my 40+ year old car. This is great as I am currently restoring it..... and the shop is only an hour drive from where I live!!!
Woke up at 6PM (kinda messed up my schedule lately, will change in a few days with my move back to my dorm) and have had a day of jerry garcia, coffee, and fried food since then. So i've pretty much sat here taping my foot and singing, and surfing the web. *edit* enjoy, I don't know jack about cars, so I had to look that up, but that's sick. Is it a standard? (I love driving a standard.... it's practically sensual, as opposed to an automatic, which is like being raped by your car)
Well then that's different... But most autos I've driven have a huge jerk when they shift, and it's like did I just kill a not-so-small animal, or change gears? If you know what I mean... But that's still a pimp car.
Had a Star Wars Marathon at a friends house and work wasn't too shitty today. no crazy ladies at least...
Nice! If any chick turned you down in a car like that, they should burn they're ovaries with a welding torch.
Today at work I was with a customer and she started to ask me about my ears. My ears are gauged. So she asked me if they hurt when i stretched them and I said no they didn't because I waited the right amount of time. And then she asked me what size I am and I said 5/8ths and so she was like whoa dude your really hardcore!. And I just started laughing really hard. So that kind of made my day.
got internet turned on today. switched from black tea to non caffeinated herbal tea. reminisced on my mental hospital experience. (it was a good thing to me)
amazing, honest, connected and enlightening conversation all day with a good friend, being bought lunch at my favorite cafe by aforementioned friend and watching john safran's music jamboree for the first time and laughing my ass off at him doing his version of the dance sequences from footloose in the yard of the hasidic jewish school he went to when he was younger realising that my friends are my chosen family after having had an amazing few weeks of being continually blown away by how exceptional my friends are, how talented, switched on and compassionate a bunch they are thinking about the fact that on thursday i'll be arriving at rainbow serpent festival, my favorite festival of the year, setting up our amazing temple space and then watching the party unfold around us .....pretty awesome day really! but then, i have a pretty awesome life
