If the only reason you look to the libertarian party is because they want to make drugs legal you're a fucking moron.

No sorry that's not the only reason but it does stick out to me. I mostly want the govt. out of everyones fucking lives, and they also need to stop trying censure everything people say and do, via internet, tv, etc. And fuck a national ID card.

We don't have party registration here in Minnesota, but if we did I'd be a Democrat. I voted for Kerry in 2004 and Mondale (Senate) in 2002. My politics are close to that of a Kucinich or Nader, however I'd rather have Kerry or Dean as President because they seem like they would make good leaders, while Nader strikes me as being completely out of his mind. I am on the executive board of the College Dems of Minnesota.

I voted for Nader for president in the last election because I don't like Bush and can't begin to trust Kerry.

    Peace,

That makes your ballsack pretty smart then! My IQ is closer to 140.

PS. Also note that I did not say I disliked the Republican Party, of which you're a registered member. Just Bush, who is a horrible "Republican."

I don't see what's so libertarian about letting everything being decided by market forces. Ins't it much mroe liberating to let people run their own places of work?

Yeh, an economy in which less than 1% control 25% of the wealth. What's so great about your country? And so bad about europe, thatchorisation is creaping into europe, its horrible and selfish.

Some people aren't cpaable of that level of work. People would work to enhance society, and why should the few have wealth that should belong to everyone. We would have scientists because people want to have interesting jobs? People dont want to pack bags all of their lives?

Your ideal world doesn't exist. It sounds nice in theory, but would never work. What Gilligan is saying is absolutely true. However, I don't think we should privatize everything, but try to find a middle ground between private and government-run services.

But a world where everyone shares the wealth is utopian and it ain't gonna happen.

Gilligan, you might put in the work if you were bing sustianed by the government. And appollo, why hand over to the private sectorr? There not in it to provide a service, they are there to make money.

And for the most part, the govt is often unaccountable for its business, especially the federal government. At least a regular business has to answer to its customers.

It's even worse when people are gullible enough to just fall in line with whatever DC tells them to do out of some sort of psychological hangup that it's unpatriotic to question the govt.

I'm considerably on the right-wing, but I would never join the Republican Party.

I don't belong to any political party, as the political system is a sham in and of itself.
