Jym-my precious rottweiler (she's a girl, long story about her name) Sneetches, Wooly and Sir Cat Jr. (also a girl)-my cats Dog-my goldfish I love my zoo
I may have already responded. Two doggies. A Malamute, boy, neutered. Sweet as the day is long. Two years old. His name is Sweetness. After Walter Payton. (Bear named him.) A Black Lab. Girl. Spayed (just a few days ago, she went into heat early, so we had to wait to spay her.) About 10 months old. All black. Little white on her feet and chest. She is a Rescue. She was a stray. She's cute as can be, but naughty. She's still a "little kid" of a puppy. Her name is Luna. My 18 dd, Moon, who is a Vet Tech, named her, as she rescued her. A bunny, he's about 4 years old. Not neutered. (no girl bunnies around.) Gray. He's sweet, but he smells. Boy bunny smell. Name Momiji. My dd says it means "Rabbit" in Japanese. I don't know if this is true. We had a sweet little hamster. He got out of his cage (One of the kids left it open. ) He's done this before and he came back. He, somehow ended up in the furnace, OMG. UG. We heard the Motor laboring, and the "Squirrel cage" in the furnace hitting something, at 4:50 in the morning and I just burst into tears, as I knew it was him. Poor baby. RIP. At least he got to have a girl friend. A mouse used to come and see him a lot. I don't know if she wanted HIM or his food, but he liked her. I'd find her on the table where his home was, looking at him and they would hang out. A few days later, my 18 year old dd's 10 year old frog, named Hannibal (as he eats his freinds and had to live alone) died. We had had him for years. No fair, two animals dying in one week.
I have to Cattens (not quite cats, not quite kittens...you know that awkward teenage phase) named Spooky and Boo Radley. I love them so much, even though they act like people.
In 2001 my German Shepherd Ripper died (cancer of the sinus), my girlfriend left (because I drank over it), and the terrorists hit the trade center, all in three weeks. Losing the dog was by far the worst of the three. I lasted a month coming home to an empty house, then found Maximilian (shown) at Calgary Humane Society. He's owned me for five years now. We relate with respect, understanding, love and trust, but I do make the decisions because Max doesn't understand the human society he lives in. A year ago the five year old next door decided to introduce his pet rabbit to Max. Max, of course, slipped his collar, demolished the rabbit cage and killed the rabbit. I found out when I got home from work. The little boy had no idea that Max's ancestors for thousands of years have made their living precisely by killing rabbits and the like. Max has taught me all about loyalty, patience, friendship, love, and how to drink out the toilet.
2 rat terriers, a cat, some fish, and soon to get 3 nigerian dwarf goats! we also have an inordinate number of lady bugs
I've got one Chow, one Tabby, and a couple of wild squirrels we have named Fred and Spaz that we feed.
I have two hounds and three cats. I've got Spyro my pit/boxer mix; Ebony a retriver/labbiy type mix. Cats Gandalf - a long haired siamese cross; Mojo, a ginger tabby and Ninja the baby of the house, the black kitten
You probably already know this, Maggie, but keep the bunny well away from the malamute. The retarded five year old next door introduced his bunny to my malamute, and Maximilian promptly tore the bunny's cage apart and killed it. His ancestors for thousands of years have made their living precisely by killing rabbits and other rodents, not to mention deer and elk.
