No no lying all my shit is legit problems, just luck the drs I see are loose with the pad and pen. Like now in the past I'd say four months i have found out that I have a torn mcl in my right knee which is the leg that is all fucked up, I have rsd nerve damage in my foot, torn tendons that aren't fixed, pins and wire That help the tendon to hold my tibia and fibia together, arthritis, and veinous insufficiency which cause blood to pool in my leg, swell, and to never to heal correctly.

Even the smallest scratch, if it scabs up it will take three or more weeks to heal and it's gonna leave a scar. Which made the surgery I had take prolly three times as long to heal, in the time That I was supposed to be out of my walking boot, for the pins and wire they put in and reset that tendon between my bones, the incision they made to go in wasn't even healed yet. Seriously my right leg looks half dead, it has a yellowish purple tint to it, ON GOOD DAYS, when it swells Its 2-2.5 times it's normal size, then I gotta wear compression stockings to prevent clots.

One time when it swelled up real big I got an infection called celultius, which triggered I 105.3 temperature, and resulted in me being semi unconscious, and spread to my groin, I think to the lymph nodes, I have never felt pain like that, couldn't. Walk. At. All.

So there is the rundown on my bastard leg,

Bulging discs, degenerative spine, sciatica (right leg numbness)

Lol it takes me 20 min to fill the one drs paper work out every month, lol, now I won't lie, I get around pretty well, but there are days if i don't/didn't have meds, I wouldn't be able to work and wouldnt make it till 9 a.m.

Ya the ones you have are ER's apparently the ones ingot are Ir's there small and white. The ER's would stuff my nose so bad I'd only get em when it was dry but they never really did much. I was use to the heavyweights as in Norcs rox and opanas. But I changed my ways I've cut back on those a lot. I had a bad problem with them but I like to mess with Vic's still even tho it's worse for my liver -_- anywho I railed 4 of these and I have a decent numbing going on feel like I can smoke a carton of smokes.. There not too bad my pupils instantly shrunk! Ya I've heard of plugging but I'm not to fond of stoking anything in my ass. Idk just wouldn't wanna risk plugging that hole lol man ch0p I love hearing your story's man and in sorry your leg is a bastard.

Does subuxone effects last an exponentially long time compared to other opiates? I took 2mg and I was nodding out all day yesterday and couldn't eat all day from it. (threw up twice) and today I can eat but I still feel like im nodding out a bit.

You would probably have better results plugging them. Morphine is my personal favorite.

Suboxone stays in your system, yes. I guess it's possible but I'm on 16mg daily and I never feel high or like I'm nodding.

I'm surprised you even answered him, Porkchop. I guess if we talk about our meds a lot and seem to obsess about them we come across as junkies, even though we're just chronic pain patients. But I won't lie, I'm physically dependent on Hydrocodone. I've been taking it every day since Nov. '03, so it would be a miracle if I weren't addicted. And these meds have a side effect that causes euphoric feelings, and I say hallelujah. LOL. But as far as junkies go, I can show you real junkies, and there's a big difference between one of them and a guy who enjoys the effects of the meds he takes for pain. For example, I wouldn't shoot you for $3. But you know what? I'm about to the point that I don't even care what some of these idiots think. They come on , discuss their own drug use and then point their finger at others, calling them "junkies". lol

That was my first time taking it and I have zero opiate tolerance (I think). I've read that it has a long half life in the body but I can't seem to find info if it's effects last longer too. Maybe because it's not really taken much as a single dose?

Well said, and I was responsible enough not to chase those great effect, if I did I could run through 180 30s in a week, I'm happy with feeling normal.....and being able to work and get around.....if I catch a nod that's just a bonus for me....

Yeah, that's the way I look at it, a bonus. They help with pain, and as a bonus they make you feel good. And I'll say again, hallelujah. I've been through so much pain and had my life permanently altered, so if I can get a little buzz along with the pain relief, great. I realize though that these meds are bound to be used by people who don't need them. And they become addicted and behave in ways that gives us all a bad name and makes it harder for people who need the meds to get them.

Currently, about 100mg of Hydrocodone, and 15mg of Methadone. I'm in the middle of a gout attack, and these things are evil. I went to the doctor this morning and he put me on Colchicine, which reduces the swelling and inflammation, but it takes time. I've taken 1.8mg of that, which is what was prescribed. I'm also on 660mg of Naproxen (Aleve), which is the maximum daily dose. I may even take 1 more. I can't really overdo it on the Colchicine because it will make you sick as a dog for days on as little as 4-5mg. It's working a little, but it's slow. The pain meds are making some sort of difference, but not as much as I'd like. Just took another Aleve. I've also had about a gallon of water, which is supposed to help dilute the uric acid.

LOL! That pic came out huge, Porkchop. I'm jealous though. Oh, I could use that about now.

naproxen messes up my stomach worse than anything... it's awful. i was on 400mg/day and had to stop taking it because i couldn't eat unless i smoked pot, which i couldn't really do before every meal.
