What OPIATES are you ON RIGHT NOW?? Part 5

Thanks for enjoying my posts, ness33. I am glad my relentless rambling on about psychopharmacology obscurities hasn't gone unnoticed haha.

As for what opioids I am on: I took 4mg of Suboxone and it made me nod out despite being on Vyvanse (Dextro-Amphetamine). It was one of the more powerful 'speed-ball' type experiences I have ever had.

Recall, I take a stimulant legitimately, and was switched from the [weaker] Ritalin to Vyvanse last week. I had gone without Agmatine or Magnesium for two weeks, and my tolerance shot up a bit, so that 4mg Subs was not overwhelming, but my Agmatine came last night and I took the directed dose, and today, 4mg was QUITE powerful!

It was very weird nodding out at the same time as being noticeably high on D-Amphetamine. But, hey, this Vyvanse stuff is MUCH less dangerous for my heart compared to Ritalin or (the dreaded) Adderall (Dextro & Levo Amphetamine) which made my heart nearly explode.

 

so vyvanse is stronger than ritalin and your heart rate is slower?? is that the norm??

And if this is so...i wonder why my doc didnt mention it. figures

do you motherfuckers ever even get a buzz? good god, except for the fententyl patch dude, why do you even post? i just shot oxy 80 after snorting 2 40 mg. opanas... don't get me wronmg, i waited about an hour to do the oxy... but i'm one fucked up sonbvitch!

 

90mg hydrocodone. also got a bottle of hydromet syrup. hydrocodone/ homatropine. unfortunately i cant get more than about 10mg hydrocodone out of it at one time without the other ingredients making you really sick.

 

i just started on nuvigil a couple weeks ago. its wonderful! i am also prescribed clonazepam, seroquel, and cymbalta. all 3 of those cause sedation(tho the cymbaltas effect is negligible compared with the other 2).

anyway the point it the nuvigil really helps me stay awake and focused during the day. i get no tension, nervousness, apetite supression, or come down like i would with anythining amphetamine related. IMO i cannot stand stimulants for the reasons listed above. i even limit my caffeine intake to times when i really really need it.

anyway i like it so far. just wanted to share my experience since you mentioned it :2thumbsup:

I am in heaven right now with a super Speedball combination of 45mg Vyvanse (Dextroamphetamine) and 4mg Suboxone. Nothing in the dangerous range, but just enough to feel plain great!

 

Damn, I didnt even know you bothered with that much Sub per day.

Yeah. 4mg per day has been my go-to dose ever since i lowered my tolerance with the Magnesium and Agmatine. I used to take 8mg and it didn't even feel as fulfilling as the 4mg does now!

 

Did a Tylenol 1 codeine extraction. Took 36 8mg T1s. So it was roughly around 200mg 'cause I'm sure some of the codeine got lost in the process.

 

90mg oxy oral, 20mg opana and 15mg oxy nasal......ahhhhhhhhhhh!

 

A solid 3mg afternoon dose of Suboxone for tonight. I am in the mood to relax and review some music after being 'amped' for so many days since I was switched to the new Vyvanse (dextroamphetamine) stimulant. I need a vacation from it, and might just take my Subs tomorrow. We'll see. When I get up and I am as tired as shit, I am sure a Vyvanse pill will appeal to me. I just am in a good mood since all areas of life seem to be coming together recently. To top it off, my first real academic article gets published electronically tomorrow on the Cornell University web-page. I'll share the link if you want to see it (tomorrow that is...). Have a nice evening saturating those mu-opioid receptors! No overdoses allowed tonight!

 

no no no Od here, i dont ever think i have been close to that point......maybe when i was eating vicodin percs and soma at work, this was early on so i didnt really have a tollerance, i HAD to nap at lunch or i wasnt going to make it, lol, but i have never been like oh shit.....or worried....its like booze, i have a low tolerance but a high capacity, only that sucks for pills, lol

i realized that if i kept chasing the high, things may be kinda bad now, but it would have been way worse fo sho.....

 

doc upped me to 3 20 mg opanas a day.....but took one 15 away.....so im at 3 20mg opanas a day, and 8-9 roxi 15s a day, also gave me neurontin, 4 a day 100mg and soma 4 aday (lol) at 325mgs and i havent had soma in about 5 weeks, i forgot to list it last appt.

will be having elbow surgery for a pinched ulnar nerve and having my venious inefficiency done also soon.....i aught feel like new man......we'll see

edit....I have not started taking the neurontin.....should I???? i dont wanna mix to much together ya know..?

I have a question. I take 4 10mg oxycodone a day, and it's got to the point that they only last 2 hours, on a good day. Is there any way to make them last longer or should I bring it up to my PM dr? I do run out a lot, not sure how to go about fixing it.

 

mosdef bring it up to your dr. if there were a way to make them last longer, lol nobody would ever run out, lol....Oxycodone i believe has an effective life of 3-6 hours, so the fact that they are only lasting 2 hours isnt a surprise at all, but this will be the story as you go one, tolerance builds and so fourth. Do you take just the straight oxy IR or is it oxy and apap (aka percocet also IR)? Or is it long acting oxy like Oxycontin? Oxycontin says it should last 10-12 hours, i was lucky to get 6 when taking them properly. If ur just taking the oxy IR get a bottle of ibuprofen or apap and take a dose with your meds they do work better together then alone, wont make them last longer, but will let u get more bang for the buck. The best way as far as time is concerned is to be put on a Controlled release/extended release med. Hope that helped!!!


EDIT....after re-reading i forgot that we both mentioned they only lasted 2 hours which is most likely the IR or instant release, sorry i couldnt draw that conclusion as i was righting, due to the fact im on cloud 9 and climbing...hard to read wit one eye open.....HEH...
