What opiate are you on right now?

If theyre pain doc's, theyre most likely douchenozzles.

on 30 mgs of morphine. i wish i had another 30 but im suprisingly feeling pretty nice from popping half and snorting the other half. thinking about taking a 512 to make me feel a lil nicer.

 

did 120mg of Morphine and 400mgs of tramadol.
Heading out now to score my buddy some Oxy 80's. Love it, I get them so cheap. I get 4 free out of it.Then he marks them up and get 2 1/2 free
Its only going to get better when he wants more.

That's exactly what the ER doc said. Manfriend dragged me out of my office and took me to the hospital where my sister works (she's the charge nurse in the trauma unit - which is good for me because I basically don't have to register OR wait). She got 4 mg of dilaudid and some ativan (both IV) on board and then called the neurologist she uses. He came in, saw the way I was twitching even WITH all those meds on board, and asked me wth I was taking. I told him tramadol and he said he NEVER prescribes that shit and the doctor I'm using sounds like a douche. He told me to just come right out and tell the guy that I'm not taking a whole pharmacy full of ineffective, possibly dangerous drugs because he wants to bill for procedures and is afraid to prescribe appropriate opioid therapy. Then he scheduled me for a full neuro workup, for next week, and wrote me 20 40 mg. oxies - even though I told him I was seeing PM Dude tomorrow.

So, to answer the question in the title of the thread, the opiate (s) I am on are 6 mg. IV dilly, 40 mg. of oxy by mouth, a little bit of IV ativan and 10 mg. of valium.

I feel BETTER!

its good to hear that your finally getting proper treatment.
now you just need a new PM doc if that other dude still refuses to give you drugs that will actually help you.

Yeah Bluez, I know. What's good is my sister and her guy know what's up, so if I need him to write me in between if I have to find another PM doc, he will. I'm actually a little nauseous right now (the valium is helping that though) it's been so effing long since I had anything with opiates in it. I'm gonna work for a few hours (I feel guilty that I wasted my afternoon in the ER). I'll be back later.

 

See dilly, I told you what to do, if you would have told him straight up last time you wouldn't have to do this tomorrow. So make sure you tell this fucker what the er doc said today. no need to be afraid, what the fuck is he going to do.. Not give you meds, well he already does that..
I have never had a problem with a doc if your straight up and tell him what dose and dosen't work for you. tell him your fucking twitching..
I feel like everytime someone wants my advise they don't take it..
I know it makes you nervous thinking he thinks your a drug seeker. But how is going to help you if you don't say anything..You should have been on the phone with him by monday saying it was an emergency, your fucking twitching and in pain..
I called my pm today and told him my back is killing me after my shots yesterday, he told me to take a coulpe extra pills..
He wouldn't know that IF I DIDN'T TELL HIM..

So I sure hope you can be straight with him tomorrow..And tell him that er gave you a few oxy 40's and that is working perfect.
DON'T TELL HIM HOW MANY HE GAVE YOU, unless he asks
Also how many a day did he tell you? 2x a day...Make sure you tell him this
and if he is worth a fuck, that is what he will put you on.
IF NOT TELL HIM YOU ARE GOING ELSE WERE AND WALK OUT..

Glad you have found some help, and Im not surprised at all its from a non-pain doctor.

 

The problem Dilly is whether your pain doctor will care what the neurologist has to say, I know the pain doc's Ive seen before wouldnt. If not hopefully he does help you out like you say and maybe even find you a good doctor.

Also the point about the procedures is a very good one. One thing it seems with many pain doctors is they have a hard time accepting the fact that one of their procedures is not going to be the answer for you. These procedures are their niche, its what they do that other doc's dont, and many would rather put you through unsuccessful procedures multiple times rather than working on your medication.

Riding a 40mg oxy dose. I don't have a tolerance so these little babies are rockin me good. Been thinkin about tearin down some nug for about two hours now.
