Nope, just terrestrial myself. But I've been watchin DR Who confidential on the bbc doctor who site. Been avoiding Dr Who references on the internet though just in case there are any spoilers out there. However the word is that the BBC have released lots of false scripts and even video clips of false endings to put people off the scent. Unfortunately they've also released the genuine article as of Wednesday for TV reviews so the answer is out there somewhere. Myself I'm happy to wait just another 7 hours.

shal we wait right here together.. .. just kidding.

Anyway, i am not that 'into' it i just like it. I like this kind of tv, i am simply too lazy to become a 'fanatic'.

I liked all the doctors apart from the first one.. he realy was crap.

Hartnell? Crap? Dear oh dear. Well I decided to do my waiting in town today - walked in with a book (Science of the Discworld III in case you're wondering) and just sat by the millpond with a pint and sunned myself reading it for a few hours. Only 40 mins to go! I should quite easily kill that time posting on here or playing FIFA.

Yes, and there was some good acting from Ecclestone and Piper during the 9th Doctor's last few moments, although on the whole I was a bit disappointed with the episode. It was good, but it wasn't good enough to justify all the build up with the running theme and saying that the TARDIS was the Bad Wolf, speaking through Rose as a Deus Ex Machina wasn't a massive revelation. I thought a big villain was supposed to come back and I was convinced it would be Davros as well although I would have settled for anyone who'd appeared previously. As it turned out there was no big twist in the conclusion of the story and it was something of an anticlimax. Also we now know that the TARDIS can be used to save the universe from any threat whatsoever and all it takes is the sacrifice of one life. It's going to make future storylines a bit difficult. It's a bit like star trek - the Transporter was a great invention to save all the fuss of having to land shuttlecraft in each episode which was expensive to produce and ate into the episode time. Trouble was, it was so useful it could get the crew out of most situations in normal circumstances, so every week they had to have a problem with the transporter in order to make things interesting.

But on the whole the series has been great and I'm gutted that we'll have to wait 'til christmas for the next one. Thank fuck for file sharing clients, digital video files and a tv license to make it all legal! At least I can carry on downloading and watchin the classic stuff, most of which I still have yet to see.

i thought the old villan would be davros too, but i had heard earlier musings about the master which would be equally cool.

Well I would have certainly welcomed the Master back rather than the pathetic Dalek God even though it would have been a massive incontinuity with respect to the Paul McGann one.

They are indeed, and fetch up to 12 grand as well! I haven't played the contra for ages. In fact the last time I played my bassoon was at Easter when I had a couple of mates over and got very pissed around the piano.

I should do an arrangment of the theme, in a different style, that'd be really cool! Sort of in the same way as Bill Bailey's Docteur Qui, but not in a jazz style, as something else.
