What nerdy & goofy things do you like, or like to do?

I have to admit, I laughed when I saw you had posted in here.

 

i chat on here.
i play xbox360 to much. esp fallout 3. although i just got res evil 5, so i'm in a conundrum.
using words like conundrum.
bird watching, is that geeky?
being out and about before sunrise with my camera and tri pod in a field searching for owls
reading a lot. including comics.
watching films
researching stuff
photoshopping.

My every breath is nerdy and/or goofy. But I'm a total sucker for nerds, the guy I lost my virginity to was a smooth-talking nerd to the max. Aww...I miss him and his goofy ass. He used to dance while we drove and he was just...so OUT THERE. The perfect definition of nerd, crazy curly blonde hair, braces, glasses, walked completely fucking goofy. Now that I think about that, while I wasn't in love with him, dude, I loved that guy. He was neat.

When I was 12 years old, I spent the entire summer reading and writing about cancer. I was completely and totally obsessed with oncology. It was pretty weird for my parents, I'm sure, lol.

 

...I like vintage film A LOT... Like 1930's opera's and whatnot.

...I also spend a fair amount of time watching 1940's burlesque videos on youtube...

amongst other things.

 

The more I think about it, the more convinced I am you would seriously fit right in at this school.

 

Years ago I did some desktop publishing using Publisher and really enjoyed that. When I was a little younger I used to love brain and logic puzzles and was really good at them. But then a few years ago my brain rebelled and now I just can't focus on anything too logical for too long, except in short bursts. I have a database project coming up that will take about 6-9 months to complete, so that's gonna be interesting. Hope my brain cooperates! lol!

Oh, and here's a goofy thing I do/did... cause sometimes I can be a total airhead!! When replying to visitor messages sometimes I forget to first click on "View Conversation" and then wind up writing to myself instead of the other person.

 

When I start playing Sudoku, I don't stop for hours.

i spend a lot of time learning practical elements of strength and conditioning science, and now really starting to learn more about the nutrition side of things - always looking to learn

goofy - i like sledding

 

I like going to Hooters alone with my Calculus book while wearing a cape. I get drunk and teach the girls how to find left and right hand limits. But they're always distracted by the cape... strange gals, they are.

 

i LOVE comic books, i have close to 10 thousand.

 

I can spend +6 hours in a museum alone and be incredibly entertained.

 

I like to take walks so I can gawk at architecture. I also like to walk in desolate industrial parks all kinds of hours in the night.

 

I definitely would NOT consider that nerdy.

 

I Photoshop a lot. Is that nerdy?

 

video games, i read a ton (if that is 'nerdy'), when i watch tv 90% of it is documentaries, 90% of those are nature documentaries.

i spend hours every day alone, on walks.

It is hard to explain the goofy things I do in the name of fun and entertainment.
Hmmm, ever seen that parent at a crowded amusement park pretening to be a bird with a child "flying behind them"- yep, that was me - "EAGLE! now, lets be kangaroos to the next exhibit"

 

i mix fruit loops with my asian bowl

i too can spend hours in a museum
i like western movies. my favorite might be angel and the badman.
