What musicians really annoy you?

I have it.

 

Why is that? Sure, he created some lame music in the '70s, but come on . . . he was the heart of the greatest rock band of all time.

What the hell? The Beach Boys are nothing like the other artists you listed them with. They created one of the greatest and most influential albums of all time (Pet Sounds).

As far as Jim Morrison and Kurt Cobain are concerned, they don't annoy me. A lot of their fans annoy me, but they don't. Who cares if Jim Morrison's poetry wasn't award-winning? Well, technically, he shouldn't even be mentioned considering he isn't a musician, but that's beside that point. The point is that these two people seem to (unfairly, in my opinion) often be judged by their current fans.

I hate how we have a bunch of teenage music elitists here now. Give me a break, people. Sure, corporate media tools like Ashlee Simpson are annoying, but people like Lou Reed, Jim Morrison, and Kurt Cobain, who became famous by creating their own innovative music, should never be included in music bashing lists like these. Lou, Jim, and Kurt are three of the most influential artists in modern music history, and I just don't understand how they can "annoy the piss" out of you.

The other artists that USNavyDeadHead mentioned are all unoriginal singers who have never produced any real innovative music or added anything to the music world. The Beach Boys created original songs and albums, played their own instruments, and pioneered innovations in sound. There is a big difference . . .

 

I can't stand rap music! They don't send out world-positive messages, which is what our world needs right now. So basically, any rapper!

True, but from his post, I'd say that he has unfairly judged the band. I could be wrong, but I bet he has only heard a handful of their most popular 'beach' songs.

 

I have their greatest hits CD, and there are a LOT of good songs missing.

 

And then there's those damn emo dudes who whine about everything. Life is so wonderful if you see the beauty in it, and I can't bear to hear stupid people bitch about what they don't have, when there is so much that they do have.

 

Yeah, that emo shit annoys me.

I think they kick-ass
For some reason everyone on these forums seem to hate them. All of a sudden they are sell-outs but, they had more music videos in the 90s than they got with American Idiot so I don't understand how that works.....

 

Everyone on here that's hatin' on Green Day should check out their old stuff. It's pretty cool.

 

Their new stuff isn't much different just a little more 'matured'
