It was Brian Eno who invented the genre, and quite often, I've noticed, people name it after him.

    RATM
    Tribe Called Quest
    Tryo
    K-Os

    Jack Johnson
    Tragically Hip
    Jean Leloup
    Blue Rodeo
    Wilco
    Woody Guthrie
    John Prine
    Manu Chao...

I listen to such a variety that it's easier to say what I listen to the least. Some reggae and some country don't come through my speakers nearly as much as some other things. I just prefer electronic, rap and many others much more. Variety is the spice of life, as is said.

I like just about all music. I grew up listening to R&B and Hip Hop. In my opinion, hip hop is officially dead, when you have rappers like 50cent and JaRule, so I don't really listen to it as much anymore. My main love is classic rock, especially stuff from the late 60s. My all time fav artist is Jimi Hendrix. I like a bit of reggae and classic soul also. The only stuff I don't like is modern pop (I think that's the word I'm looking for) or commercial stuff like Avril, Christina, and I especially can't stand bitches that can't sing, like both Simpson girls or Britney Spears.

Don't call me super square, but what's Black Metal? Like heavier heavy metal or something? I'm not really into that type of music, and I've never even heard of black metal, so I'm curious...
