What music did ya last get?

Yesterday I got a cassette and an 8 track

1) CASSETTE: Woodstock Two (More music from Woodstock 69 (First 1971 ampex release)) - I got this in the mail..
2) 8 TRACK: Phil Collins - Face Value (Original album release (I had a RCA MUSIC SERVICE release before which sounded like crap (Like it was digitally compromised somehow)) - I got this in the mail

 

I last got a cassette in the mail I ordered

Metallica - And justice for all

This is a poland release and they left off 1 song... I dunno if they didnt like it or what... "To live is to die" is not there.......

No Dolby which is nice....... Sounds just like the record so its 100% analogue sourced on the tape

 

that's really weird they would leave that song off. i know poland is pretty sensitive but it's an ode to a fallen band member with zero offense, it's only got a few lines.

 

Ya its an UNOFFICIAL RELEASE so i guess they can leave whatever they want off......

Another unofficial Poland release (A newer one) in 1991 only has 5 songs on the cassette! (Its got dolby also and probably isnt analogue)

The 1995 Poland release IS OFFICIAL and all songs are on the cassette.......

 

Yesterday I got a record and an 8 track

1) Allman Brothers band - Idlewildsouth (ABSOLUTE GOLD)
2) 8 TRACK: Nektar - Recycled (ABSOLUTELY INSANE)

 

picked up The Prodigy "No Tourists" the other day for $10.99. When I went back to the shop to sell it back to them after a few listens it was only worth $.50.

 

So they only gave you 50 cents?? (They must have known it wasnt good and you would probably return it)

 

I last got 2 cassettes

1) Paul Anka - Times of your life (First 1975 release)
2) Bert Kaempfert - Warm and Wonderful (First 1969 decca release)

 

I went to an estate sale on Friday and got 2 cassettes

1) Scott Joplin himself: RAGTIME
2) Moody Blues - Question of balance (First 1970 Ampex release)

 

and some world music cd featuring what I think must be Indian music, though I can't be certain what it is exactly. I'd go get it from the car, but I doubt anyone would find it all that interesting. Maybe that's too pessimistic, but also I'm lazy. I don't want to go to the car in my pajamas!

 

I got this cd today on google store after listening to 2 songs on youtube i really enjoyed..
but the rest of it is not really what I expected, still worth a laugh but eh, it's very demeaning at the same time.

 

I take it all back! It's fantastic! The first three songs were worth the $13US, my only gripe is I have to put the volume up 5-6 notches than my nor Al music and for a 2006 album... That's just not cricket.

3) CASSETTE: Blind Faith (First 1970 atco release (No dolby,etc)) -- I also have it on record and 8 track

2) 8 TRACK: Anne Murray - Good time Country (10 songs of hers from 1974 and earlier) -- ALSO EXCELLENT!
