Ok, let me tell you the news: you don't have to be a conspiracy nutbag to question things :2thumbsup: In fact, it is much better to try to be more objective instead of just running to the other end of the spectrum and convict everyone who for example has a joy in sports or celebs as a mindless sheep who can't possible question things anymore because of it

PR suffers from the same problem my wife does at times, he is so convinced of the "rightness" of his position that anyone who doesn't ascribe to the same views obviously
1) didn't listen in the first place.
2) listened but didn't understand.
3) doesn't fully appreciate the implications of the issue.

Did the thought ever cross these folks minds that people do listen, people do understand, people have taken a look into it, people do appreciate the implications, but just simply do not come to the same conclusions?

So rather than harshly examine their own beliefs, it is much easier and psychologically safe to just declare "the others" as mindless sheep.

What really is hilarious about it is that is the same tactic used by religious groups, political groups, social sub-groups (including hippies), etc. etc., all aimed at each other.

It is an attitude born more out of ignorance rather than knowledge.


honestly part of me feels bad for PR and folks like him living in such a paranoid world of their own making.

but on topic one thing is that Skip has managed to keep the site fairly clean and tidy.
There was the porn ads that were questionable, but it looks like those have been toned down. I like not having a ton of ads and crap and non-site related attempts at revenue generation.
Skip has managed to keep that to a nice level while, I hope, still generating some additional cash flow to keep the wheels greased.
He could have linked to FB as he considered, but to his credit he asked the members about it and went with the majority opinion.
