What late 60's bands have you seen live?

    Black Sabbath, Hawkwind (Space ritual), Deep Purple in 2004 and, don't know if it counts; the Doors of the 21st century. :p
    Oh yes, I also saw Wishbone Ash but don't remember a thing of it.

    Edit: I forgot the dutch band Brainbox. Great show!

    well i'm new in thýs forum.ý live in turkey so not so many bands come here.ýn 6-7years time jethro tull has gýven 3 concerts here which i ve been to all.well,ian anderson is like a god to me.

    jethro tull has been to my town (dubai) a coupla times accompanied by some indian singer/flute players etc ..unfortunately, i was out of town for both

    deadhead - who was his openin act ?

    I seen Elvis Presley.. I was 5, he died 2 years later and even I was old enough to say woo.. hes dead :(
    That would need to be my greatest..

    well i'm young (21) so a lot of the bands i would have liked to have seen, didn't happen.

    But a few years ago I saw The Monkees and it was so so so far out!! It was at this Cleveland Rib Festival (i hate ribs so they were the only reason i went, my mom won tickets off of the radio. She doesnt really like them so my Dad and I went).... I sat up on my Dad's shoulders so i could see, it started to thunder and lightning and rain really hard but nobody left and no one stopped playing.... I wish it wasn't so long ago (i was about 12) because I can only remember one song they did... It is one of my favorites, Porpoise Song, and I was hoping they'd play it, then they did. i loved it.
