Wow, you guys are really lit up this morning! That's awesome. Well I hope you all continue to enjoy yourselves on this wonderfully good Sunday morning, and I am going to keep looking for that white girl rapper whose name I can't think of.

Language. Always been a big interest of mine. I also use other people's songs as a way to speak but, I think everybody does that. Or most everybody.

    Dirty things?

Well her opinion of me doesn't really matter to me but maybe I like to clear things up for her :p Also, the first question I asked in this post was sincere and out of interest and maybe by paying her the respect of an answer might in turn loosen her up more and make her understand there is no threat or nasty idea behind that question and she will answer it anyway. After all it was one of the posts related to the original point of this thread before she started asking off topic questions about what we think or want from her ;) :p

You don't have to point that out. We are aware now you are using your ignore list. Does that mean it serves no purpose to post in your threads? Nope, as we are obviously not just in there to please or obstruct you. If you are wondering why are they posting in this thread about ignore lists and stuff... I'm sure you're aware that you asked us a question and we payed you the respect of an answer :p

I like this. However, unlike you I don't always speak honesty, truth or fact. I try to, but sometimes I've been known to lie, get my facts wrong. And me and maths don't get along. We're not on speaking terms.

I always take offense. Always. But I try not to. Perhaps I'll learn.

Poetry. Now there's a language I understand because it's anything I want it to be (as long as them poets leave enough space between the lines in which to read).

Cloaks are smothering. Daggers too sharp and ouchy.

I'm a comic when I'm striving to be serious. A bore when I'm trying to be funny.

And all the others add up to my own language which I speak well. It's called Gibberish and no one speaks it as fluently as I do.

I wish I could speak Parseltongue because I wanna be just like Snape.

I do too, especially when they sing the words I never knew I wanted to say.

I'm not posting in her threads solely or even primarily for her ;) When I (and others for that matter) feel like adding something or speaking my mind on a topic it is best to regard those reactions as just that. To make a point of it when someone on your ignore list happens to post in your thread is certainly a thing one can do (it's her thread after all :p) but yeah, it seems that way a person is only making her own thread go off topic. Just wanted to add that, in case OP still wonders what these kind of reactions are about :)

If you are not a business owner and have to work for a living, for ANYBODY...it is absolutely unrealistic to "always speak honesty, truth and fact" etc etc etc.

I've worked with the public in the food industry for around 20 years (currently at Mickey D's :D ) and before that, in my other life, I worked for the state as an evaluator. Even then, as an evaluator when I did speak ONLY honesty, truth and fact in the reports, I was not allowed to speak "like that" to co-workers. God forbid anybody get their little feelings in a pinch. Same goes for customers of any type - be it customers at a restaurant or in a store...if you value your job in the slightest, you better learn how to deal with the reality that stupid-ass people must be catered to, and that means NOT always being a fountain of truth and honesty.

Working with the public in the food industry is a lesson in NOT speaking honestly, with truth or fact. Customers want to hear only what they want to hear...honesty plays no part in it.

When I'm not at work, its a whole different story. However, I'm at work between 39 and 40 hours per week...so that definitely counts.

Great response. "especially when they sing the words I never knew I wanted to say." ... I think musicians are the Angels.

Your own language ... True, we each have our own unique language. Some people have to struggle to find their own voice.

I can't help it if somebody is offended. Some people speak with the intent to offend. I don't.

Actually, you can. Some people get offended when they are ignored on purpose and for nothing. Some people like to go out of their way to demonstrate their ignoring with the intent to annoy and offend. You seem to do such a thing. This seems out of line with what you tried to make yourself look in your original post.

If you imagine that while working I would tell a customer that they're a "stupid-ass person", in the name of honesty, you'd be mistaken. That isn't my meaning of honesty.

i speak amerenglish. it is the language of deceit. it is very nearly impossible to speak truth in this language without using so many little works people get exhausted listening to you, or using such great big words that no one is familiar with them. it is a matter of unusual good fortune to discover a phrase or a sentence in it, that is unambiguously truthful.

people who claim to speak simple truth in it clearly and to do so in a few simple words, are almost invariably deceiving themselves to make such any such claim.

it is not by choice that i speak in it. but rather it is that language i was born into, and only in infancy was i ever any good at learning languages.

This is going to forever be my favorite-thread-that-i-started on Hip Forums. I'm glad you're in it, themnax. I sometimes struggle to understand your thoughts, but that's because I don't know your language. We all only appear to be speaking English but there are so many languages within a language and so many ways to convey a message. I admit, sometimes I get confused. I like clarity and clarification, but not all people like to be engaged to do the work it takes, when striving for Peace of Mind.

I know somebody who expresses themselves MUCH BETTER when they know somebody is listening to them. When nobody is listening, everything comes out all jumbled.

I speak Wenglish. 'What's Wenglish?' I hear you ask, well it's a kind of hybrid between Welsh and English, where both languages are mixed together and NOBODY has a clue what we're saying.
