What kinda hippie stuff do you have in your home?

that's some groovy stuff my friend!!...

 

Especially the buses and the cheech and chongs... really dig it!!...

 

I have some art hanging on the walls that I've made, incense in the bedroom and living room, hemp jewelry, candles every where...in my bathroom I have a handmade decoration from India with cloth elephants, a fossilized dinosaur bone hanging from a string of hemp in the shower (gah, that makes me sound really weird lol), and a couple of rocks and a piece of coral that I got at the beach when I went and watched tropical storm Hanna come in.

 

Hm.

A few tapestries over my windows, some small statues of Buddha and Ganesha (I'm on the hunt for a really *good* Shiva statue), some oil paintings my mother did, a whole lot of incense/incense burners/candle holders, a bunch of fabric from various places in Africa/Mexico/the Middle East, prayer flags that have a chakra theme, a lot of books on crystal therapy, astral projection, and chakras, my small pipe collection, a hookah, some rad music, my guitar. Hoping to add a djembe to the collection.

My favorite, though, is the back of my door which holds my favorite pieces from my scarf collection. I have a bunch of scarves there from various countries in gorgeous shades of red, blue, yellow, pink, green, purple, and orange. And right now my new brown wool hat/scarf combo is hanging there next to a skirt made of salvaged materials and the green coat I found at Goodwill. It's just so bright and colorful and makes me happy.

And my hoop!!!

when we actually have a house of our own, it is a really cool place to hang out and chill. right now all we have is a bedroom in someone else's house. it sucks. that's why all our cool stuff is in one room, lol!

and i can't believe i forgot about all my beads and hemp jewelry and stuff that i make... and our massage table... and our lava lamp and our salt lamp, and all of that. we really are hippies, lol!

 

i have my puppy, a blacklight poster of a catepillar chillin on a mushroom, hemp stuff, weed box, altar with statues and malas on it, hippie clothes, a drum, incense, candles, incense holders, etc.

i need a lava lamp. lol

 

my hun won a guitar for me at the fair... so add that to my hippy things... oh and I bought some more incense today and my super awesome hula hoop that came in last week...
