I like you Dave... So, just asking... do you come across like such a Smarty in the flesh? Not that I doubt your intelligence.
I think that Dave Techie is a really nice guy. smart, funny. I give you 2 thumbs up. im sure that i wouldnt think your an ass in person
people usually have problems speaking "davish" in person, even though most of the people at my last job hated me, there was a concensus that I was the smartest person there. it's weird to be the smartest, tallest, and youngest. I really am an ass.
it helps that I really am an ass. and I'm smug as fuck in person. real life people typically aren't worth taking the effort to not offend them, since most of them are too busy with their surrogate activities anyway.
Yea, smug is never nice. But if someone gives you no excuse to act that way then, well... everything should be peachy, right?
my friends are all relatively funny and laid back. i have about four friends who I've been close with since I was about 10. then some random others I hang out with occasionally. a good number of them went away to college. and a good number of them are frying their brains with drugs.
Most of the people I feel a real affinity for, as in they understand my soul, are overseas. I spent more time talking, hanging out with, walking, eating and quietly sitting with some of the people I met while travelling in the course of weeks than I did with some of my best high school friends over years. I also have a lot of good internet friends. In my town, one married guy who has the same taste in films and music as I and whose company is quite enjoyable on the odd occasion, even if he doesn't share my madness. I also have a very close friend from high school, but we are growing apart. He seems bent on saving the environment and has no other interests.
My friends are pretty much mad to live. They're fools, they hardly ever say a commonplace thing, they just make the world a better place.
Umm, I have the same good circle of friend's I've had since highschool. Then I have some good buddies from university. And the people I ski/climb with... I'm much less social than I used to be.
And Thats What Being 18 Is All About.. Enjoy Life To The Fullest My Dear.. Cause, From This Point On.. Tis All A Downward Spiral..:willy_nilly: Glen Is Such A Happy Person To Be Near Today...(can't you just feel the positive vibes).. Cheers Glen.
my friends. stoners, idiots, lazy beer drinking game maniacs. sometimes mega irritating but always my friends, the people i prefer to spend my time with.
I've got my old friends back home, I've known them all for a really long time, they're like my little family. Then I've got my friends here in England, some are old uni friends from when I lived in Brighton, others are new uni friends in London, and then there's some people I've just met randomly and we've become friends. In Oxford, I don't really have that many friends, there's a bunch of people I can go out with but not any close friends. Here we usually hang out with Tim's friends who are all really nice, well most of them anyway.
I do have a few gems as friends but the rest are people who I'd rather trade up for better friends. Thing is the type people who I want to be my friends are not interested in a chap like me perhaps their friend book filed up years ago. These days I think about what kind of friend I am. My instinct is to do anything for my friends but that has led me to be their caretaker, councillor, enabler and servant so when I cut down on being those things I find I have almost no friends at all. But I'd rather be alone for the most part than a utility.
