I am not perfect, I curse and gossip and a lot more things. I also have a temper, I apologize for that. You know what I don't like ? Religious people who only take parts of religion. Parts which suit them. The truth is, every organized religion has rules. And if you really want to stick to it, you should obey certain rules and not only choose the easiest part and follow that. Sometimes you are asked to give up certain things. Its up to you if you're gonna go through with it or not. I decided to give it a go.
yoga pilates running sit-ups push-ups lunges tae bo resistance muscle stuff (aka rubberband stuff) I just love physical stuff. But I'm weak as hell. I have the body type that can't hold onto muscle well. So I have to do 2-3x as much as most people just to get the same results.
Oh, yeah. I also love to ride my bike everywhere, but I can't bring myself to do it again until it cools off.
Tai chi and I walk a lot in the country and on the beach. I've got a verrrry big dog so walking her pretty much is my exercise regime.
No need to apologise.Sorry for my bluntness too.Altho I detect there's still animosity here in HF.I *did* try to settle it tho. Anyway, I agree with you that hypocrisy/contradictions in Christian practice is a bad thing( eg George Bush's sick "interpretation" of it) But is it Christianity you want to follow?Or certain political(?) *perspectives* as espoused by *sections* of the current Vatican? That would mean in the past you'd want scientists burnt at stakes/ex-Communicated etc etc. Any religion is run simply by people.Who are right or wrong or neither.I don't see how its the easy way out to try and separate Christianity from the politics of an era etc.Quite the opposite IMO. I hope u get what u want from Christianity/Catholicism.But likewise I hope u don't miss out on things, because u thought it wasn't your right to question simply the views of other people.
Walking, yoga, running, dancing, riding my bike, step aerobics I think Id like swimming if I could do it
I pretty much just like to lift. I've been lazy as far as running goes but I plan on getting back to it once I have surgery (tore my ACL). I've really enjoyed lifting in the last month or so because I've started to add some serious muscle. When you're able to notice changes it gives you that much more motivation.
dude, find a local court and play basketball or something. or swim. doesn't have to be something boring and monotonous to get your cardio in. i told my priest i used to be into the occult and didn't get excommunicated. i imagine it depends on how hardcore the clergy is where you're at. and it actually makes sense. a lot of those things you list are based off eastern religions and are related to the occult. to each his own, you know? are you looking to pick a fight or something? seriously, people that have problems with christianity annoy the shit out of me. you do realize what you're saying here is just as bad as a jehova's witness coming to your door and telling you you're going to hell. except i actually see what they're doing as better, because rather than being an antagonistic ass for no reason, in their minds, they're "saving your soul."
No legs? You might want to check your form if your joints are bothering you, I dunno if lifting too much in high school was the problem. Overhead presses are the best thing you can do for your shoulders. Side laterals are a good complimentary movement. I love lifting and basketball. Ping-Pong, paddle tennis, soccer, football, jumprope, all favorites.
Yes, or at least I try to get it regular. Love running especially since I have a dog now and she loves it too. Weight Lifting, 1-2 mile Jog, Crunches (love'em), Sauna, Swimming. In that order it's amazing. Tennis/Racquet Ball, Futball, Frisbee Golf are also fun.
hammer strength wide chest press=best machine ever made freeweight barbell bench press=my all time favorite though yeah, i know. i need to do legs next time i get into it. if i ever get the motivation again, i plan to do mwf upper body and tues, thurs lower body. i got my bench up to 240(max) in only two months when i was 19-20. i figure it'd take a year of some intense lifting to get to 300 (my life goal). dunno if my shoulders can handle that though. i saw a doc and it was "overuse tendinitis." overworked my anterior deltoids(front of the shoulder) and didn't at all work my posterior deltoids(back of the shoulder). you gotta do some weird exercises to work those. i can't do shoulder raises(side laterals)* or military presses(overhead presses)* because of that. *at least that's what i assume you're talking about
