What Kind of Cars Do Artists Drive ?

This is our new baby, a 2006 Smart for 2.
My wife loves it. She is a stained glass artist.
How about you guys? What's your mode of travel?

(there is a problem when I have to move a large painting....but the fuel economy is GREAT!)

 

I'm 19 and I don't even know how to drive. I refuse to do it unless absolutely necessary.

 

But good choice! cars suck but that's pretty much as "good" as you could get.

 

i drive a 96 civic. i'm going to paint it soon with tattoo flash, just because i want to. that car is sweet though.

a friend of me has that car, and its a nice car actually.

 

Im still workin on the licence bit...but ideally, Id like a good shack on wheels to travel with. Someonething with enough space to carry a feww passengers and luggage. Im stoked about bumper stickers..

 

A true artist is a starving artist. She walks or rides a bike. Because bikes are cooler anyways.

 

Hmm...Michelangelo would have disagreed. At death his estate was a HUGE fortune. But then again, he lived in different times. The "starving artist" never became fashionable until the 19th century.

 

Yeah, I was just having fun, and trying to spread the Gospel of Bikes and their Greatness.

 

Had 2 cars, a Ford Escort wagon which was great for carrying paintings and surfboards, but sold it in September, and then Christmas weekend my Toyota Corolla was stolen. But in New York a car is not really needed, except to go to the beach. But I plan on rigging up my scooter to carry a surfboard somehow.

The one thing that isn't so smart about smart cars is their price

 

i have a 2001 hyundai elantra. it's very efficient.

i paint on very large canvas so i've had some trouble fitting canvas in it, but i'm not going to go out and buy an SUV or anything. i've got a friend with a truck

 

Duh, real artists don't drive cars. They ride in limousines.

 

Toyota Coolrolla they go for ever and I sure as hell dont have the money to be worried about it fucking up.....
