But, you didn't steal anything, right? I don't think you can go to jail just cuz someone says you stole shit from their car. There needs to be evidence, whether it's hard evidence, like something of theirs that was stolen or videotape of you going into the car. If they have guns and know your address, I would call the cops on them for harrassment. I don't necessarily like "ratting people out," but if you feel like your life is being threatened, you have to do something to put a stop to it. Don't take matters into your own hands, since this Dumbass character has already thrown punches and, my god man, pulled a freakin gun on you. If you have a cell phone with a camera, take a couple pictures of the guy doing something bad, smoking, playing with his little pop gun, etc. People that show off guns are usually just mad cuz they were born with a tiny wiener. I say, find a way to rid your daily life of this Dumbass and continue living like you want to live. Do try to be careful tho, you sound like a cool person and I don't want to hear that you got hurt over this matter. If anything, find a new group of people, a new dealer, whatever. Just get the hell away from that fucktard.

a flimsy accusation that you stole stuff from somebody's car is the least of your worries. if you didn't steal anything, then there will be no real evidence that you did.

probably best to let go of the fact that you got beat up. this is a situation that could easily escalate to where someone gets killed or seriously hurt.

OP, cameras are great, take pictures of this guy, and if he does something unprecedented like come to your house, menace you, etc, make sure you get PICTURES with timestamps and/or ideally videos with sound. THEN you can involve the law.

Talking to cops when someone DIDN'T fuck with you or whatever makes you a snitch, and then you belong in a ditch. So don't snitch like a bitch.

You're mixed up in this whole scene with them all setting you up and knocking you down, one selling you drugs while the other talks shit and pulls guns, and you sitting there too fucking stupid to see how you're being set up. If you snitch as part of this or as part of some silly grudge about what you got yourself into, then you deserve the worst, and will probably get it. What you did with bats and shit makes it VERY hard to actually get them in legal trouble, because it looks like you're just trying to set him up because you're mad because he stopped you fucking with his property. Which is, basically, the truth.

I doubt this would have the desired effect- however good the intentions. Some times people have to learn shit their own way. If everyone bombarded me with advice I didn't necessarily want when I was 16 or 17 I'd have shut them out.
