What it Means if Your Tattoo Burns Sometimes?

I have a few tattoos and one of them gets a sensation like it's burning.

I did some research and learned two reasons why tattoos sometimes get this sensation.

-- The person with the tattoo may be allergic to the ink.
-- It could mean that the person is fighting off some sort of sickness.

 

i think it has to do with a possible allergy to the ink. that was my first thought tbh

 

A girl I know can not use red ink in her tattoos or she has a bad reaction.
