guitar (crappy), piano (even more crappy), bass (i try). i love my music. i'm not uber talented, but its just so fun. i would say i love my guitar the best because its portable (unlike Mr Pia-Pia-Piano) and can stand along (sorry bass) and produce a great song. its so versitile and ahhhh such a great way to procrastinate many a day away...... *strum* let me sing you a little song..... oh yeah, and i'm also partial to a bit of saucepan and wooden spoon action. although i haven't done that for a while i must admit.... ooooh and i wanna get a digeridoo, harmonica and penny whistle. man, that would be fun! oh, and tambourines! dont even get me started... *dances* hehehehe
1. 12-string guitar (but I don't think I'm all that good!) 2. Violin (fiddle, whatever you want to call it!) 3. Mandolin (Captain Corelli eat your heart out) 4. Played viola for a while, but I no longer own one. 5. Recorder (everybody learns this in primary school, don't they?) 6. Penny whistle. 7. Jaw harp. 8. A pair of spoons. 9. Just got a pair of bongos. 10. A few chords on a tenor banjo. 11. Keyboards, but only with one hand. Errrr...I think that's it guys.
I play guitar in a cover band - using an aqua metallic Fender American Std. hardtail Strat, a transparent red Gibson LP Special and a beautiful transluscent blood red '91 Takamine acoustic/electric. I own more guitars than the law allows but those are really the mainstays. Along with guitars I also have a nice short scale viola bass, Kurzweil keyboard, 1919 silver Conn alto sax, Armstrong thinwall flute (ahh, those 'ol Tull acoustic duo days) and various other things including a xylophone. Oh and of course the Fender HotRod Devile 2x12 amp and requisite full (heavy) rack full of stuff that I won't even get into to play out. Mind you the guitar callouses on my fingers are old enough to vote! ~7
Here's my list: Guitar/cello/bass/piano/drums/fiddle/banjo/about any brass insrument or stringed for that matter/harmonica/oh and my voice/ I love to sing. Nothing in the world beats the feeling of playing an instrument and seeing people enjoy it and having fun. It's also very therapeutic.
Guitar Flute Alto/tennor Sax Oboe Piano Viola Violin Mandolin Banjo Drums Bongos Recorder Bass little bit of Harp Tuba French Horn Triangle Harmonica Decks(i think that kinna counts now if as anything percussion) Panpipes Ethnic winds of many variations asian mostly thats about it oh and of course the spoons lol XD
There´re so many great instruments I´d like to play. I tried acoustic guitar, didn´t work out so well.
listening to cello and to bass is at the top of my list too, but I would rather play the piano. I played the violin for seven or eight years.
I have the ABILITY to play: Flute Oboe Violin Guitar Cello Mallet Percussion However, I only currently play oboe and mallets, and guitar occasionally. Oboe would have to be my favorite, because that's the one I'm best on. I'd really, really, really like to pick up bassoon, though.
