What is your "freak flag"?

I apologize, I seriously think just being makes me an individual.

 

the only thing anyone comes down on me for it seems are my bare feet. i don't wear shoes when i play shows any more, and when i walk around without shoes i get all looks. i don't get why it's such a thing. but then i live in the boonies. and i dig it.

 

I'd have long hair if I could, but there just isn't enough of it. Sigh. I felt more beautiful with long hair. I guess my freak flag would be that I see the world through a psychedelic lens - and that's not very flaggish. I always speak to people who seem like hippie-types.

I'm happy to make some little contact with people who might have some of the same experiences I have.

What particular things do I do to fly my freak flag? I'm not that freaky but for my age and where I live, I'm not like the majority of women so people think I'm weird.

I chose to stay home to raise my kids and now my grandkids; I'm in an open marriage; I don't own a television; I don't have the newest phone on the market; I don't buy the latest trendy clothes and shoes; I don't go to a salon for manicures, pedicures, tanning, and hair cuts; I don't color my hair, I rarely wear any makeup, I don't go to church or identify as christian; I don't listen to country music or Top 40... Just stuff like that.

my thing is charming irresponsibility and happy go lucky attitude......i dont think my sisters use the charming part when describing me lol

 

Perhaps the charming part is subjective?

 

I can appreciate any music that is well played and is well thought out. It's the music mill, that churns out meaningless tunes with meaningless lyrics, that I don't like.
