The Two Towers just like it a bit more because of the scenes with Smeagol/Gollum "The rock and pool, is nice and cool,so juicy sweet. Our only wish,to catch a fish,so juicy sweeeeeet"
I agree....after fellowship was released, it "enchanted me" to the point where i read all of the books again before the release of The Two Towers! BTW Myrtje......your new picture is very nice
So did i, my dad used to be obsessed so we also have the extra books (the silmarillion and others. i love the silmarillion btw) and i read all of them. my dad even got my name out of the 3rd book. its not elvish or anything, myrte is just a common flower but it says in the book that the flower grew in ithillien and my dad was reading that part when my mom was like 8 months pregnant, hence my name haha. thanks . its actually an old pic, ive had it in my sig before but i keep changing all the time.
I had actually always wondered about the derivation of your name, as it didn't seem like a dutch name to me.....but a very nice name indeed. It must be nice for you to connect to the same story that inspired your parents to name you myrtje!
The original name is Greek, but Myrte is the dutch way of spelling it. tje is a dimunitive in dutch, myrtje just means little myrte.
to be honest i like all three of them but Return of the King is the most moving one. yes i may sound silly but LOTR is the only film that has actually made me cry. Its so believable like its some kind of ancient civilization or another planet. Tolkien was a genius
I love them all...you can't have one without the others...but, my favorite is the conclusion, The Return of the King...very emotional for a fantasy flick.
i absolutely loooved the first movie, but I do have to agree that the third book was my favorite. In fact, it took me awhile to even get through the first chapter of the first book because I found it rather dull. But yes, my fav would definitely be the first one. I was captured by the beauty of the earth in each scene....
I really tried to watch these but I just couldn't get into it. I think they were highly overrated. I loved the hobbit, and I hear Peter Jackson (I think that is him) it going to make it. So If he does it will probably be my favorite.
for those of you who haven't seen any of these, I highly recommend you give em a chance. excellent movies- all 3...
