One of the very swellest (superest??) things to stroll barefoot on is FRESH ASPHALT---not cement, mind you---the icky pebbly tarrysmelling black stuff (your parking lots, your street repairs). Next time new asphalt goes down, GET DOWN and walk bare-soled on it! MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
:blush5:, you're always welcome. If you visit Glastonbury, UK or happen to be in San Francisco, California during November (when I visit my folks) look me up :2thumbsup: Shayla x
Freshly laid tar is great to walk on. A warm and soft feeling. the last time I did it my soles were stained terribly. I couldn't wash it off ( not that I wanted to!)- It had to wear off. Dirty soles are great
I like to walk on Moss but I think that can go in the grass category. Moss feels really good especially being barefoot. It feels great on the bottom of your feet and between your toes especially after it rains. I mean like thick moss that sometimes grows on rocks and big logs.
tonight i dreamt there was all that tall, frozen grass and snow waiting for me outside! yep, because frozen grass feels unreal. love it.
Grass, concrete, hardwood floors, and carpet. I haven't gone completely shoeless, but this Summer I'm gonna go without shoes more.
I like hot city streets, store floors, arena floors (Dead shows were wonderful events to meet fellow barefooters), freshly laid asphalt as others have said, boardwalks and mainly urban barefooting. I had a few ex-girlfriends who were barefooters, we met in Greenwich Village (NYC) while we were both barefoot.
