I find when I've been in nature for a long time and then go into somewhere with cars it makes my sinuses hurt really bad!

I love climbing trees barefoot :) I took a really long walk along the beach barefoot today, it was lovely and clean (well ish but most of it was fine) nothing beats sand between your toes hehe

My favorite part of nature is it's abundance of bullshitlessness. No people. No worries. Just peace.

Nature comes up with some bizarre looking creatures. You couldn't even think these things up yourself.

Cities are fun, but getting out in nature once in a while is pretty cool

sometimes in nature just puts you in your place; that you live in a very special place that you cannot understand. as if its a higher power or something.

So true. After working for 3 years removing invasive plants I can't never look at things the same way anymore. Everywhere I look I just see plants that don't belong. It's depressing really.

But other than that, I love everything about being in nature. I am so grateful every day that my office is National Forests.

There are so many different aspects and feelings about nature that I love. Often they are contradictory.

I love being in the mountains backcountry skiing because they make you feel so insignificant. At the same time I also love the feeling of domination that comes from felling an oversize coastal spruce tree.

I love the feeling of freedom that comes from being able to go everywhere and anywhere (climbing or hiking), but also the isolation that exists because a spot is so difficult to reach.

I could go on and on. It is the only place I feel safe and sane.
