Where should I begin? Apples, pineapple, watermelon, grapes, nectarines, oranges, plums, peaches and blueberries! You will never eat grapefruit from a grocery store after you eat one fresh from the tree, same goes for cantaloupe. Now I'm hungry.
probably wild black berries. because they grow wild in the places where i grew up. and you don't have to do anything fancy to eat them. but they do only ripen at their own time of year, and you can't survive on them alone.
Grapefruit. After that, ties for mango, canary melon, cantaloupe, pineapple, apricots, plums, and pears.
I love all fruits..... am still thinking about the salad I ate last night....spinach salad with strawberries and blueberries....and bleu cheese....topped with a strawberry vinegarette.... Mixing fruit into regular salads is a great idea!
I have two: Watermelon and TART CHERRIES. Double intender intended. Though I have NEVER actually had sex with a virgin I have had sex with many tarts so to speak. ...Oscar
Red seedless grapes, blackberries, fresh figs, strawberries, blueberries, and juicy plumz This thread speaks volumes to me. I love fruit.
a lot of people are mentioning things that arent fruit strawberry and yes strawberry is a fruit...not a berry
whatever is on a tree growing where i can grab some off of it. when and where i lived growing up, wild black berries were everywhere. their tangles owned more land then humans. cherries are good, but i over do them and get a really bad tummy ache. lemons believe it or not, because lemon skweezinz in soups and stews extend the flavor so you don't need as much salt which i need to not have so much of. those plums that are a little sour that are just supposed to be decorative are actually good, or at leas i like them. mellons can be considered fruit as they're where the seeds are. watermellon would go good right now. peaches, apricots, yah, they're all good. nanners, but too much potasium not good. thimbol berries and salmon berries when i was living outside up in the northwest in the 80s. main thing for fruit, if i can pick it directly off the tree myself, that's when its good. in the store, its ok, but i'm really kind of indifferent to it. i don't buy or eat much store bought fruit at all. i like oranges and grapefruit too. in juices i like mangoes and papias. just nope, there isn't really any one i can pick out as a particular favorite.
guess its how you define fruit. berries are the fruiting bodies of the plants they're on, as are tomatoes and mellons. their plants just don't happen to be trees. not sure how a strawberry plant is substantially different from those other things called berries grow on.
Strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, kiwi, mango, pomegranate, coconut, pineapple, lemon, lime. Grapes for their contributions to wine.
