coming to america is the greatest of all time....considering nobody even mentioned it yet I'm going to assume that most of you are under 20 years old and I'll assume the rest of you forgot......(which is nicer than discrediting your taste LOL )
am I missing something here? not only was it NOT funny, but it was the most boring piece of crap ever. I liked clockwork orange and other SK films...but man, Strangelove put me to sleep after 30 minutes and my friends who were in the room were yelling at me to turn it off. thank god I did! funny movies: airplane caddyshack clerks waiting Tommyboy and many more but not strangelove, that was anti funny!
Well of course anything Monty Python.... I have this strange fondness for Chevy Chase movies- my favorite probably being "Spies Like Us" Spinal Tap and A Mighty Wind Eulogy thats all I kind think of for now.... ~Layla
Ew, the 40 Year Old Virgin was sooo bad. Anywho, not a big comedy fan, but I just saw Dogma, and that had me laughing pretty good
yet another example..... ok people, if your FAVORITE comedy ever just came out this year...... you must be YOUNG or have NO CULTURE.
To be fair, you could level that at a great many of the choices on this whole thread, not just the new films.
I can't say a single favorite because they don't compare evenly. Classic: The Court Jester Romantic comedy: tie between The Quiet Man and LA Story Spoof: tie between Young Frankenstein & Monty Python & the Holy Grail
