What is your favorite animated series?

Yea I remember that one. The Grey Ghost was voiced by Adam West, the batman from the live action series of the 60s. There was an animated film of of the batman called Batman: The Mask of the Phantasm. I remember that being really cool cause they didn't have to meet the same censorship code as they did for the series. So in the film the characters all seem that much nastier, PEOPLE ACTUALLY DIED!! and i'm fairly sure there was blood at at least one point.

yea mask of the phantasm came out in 92 and is one of the best full length batman movies, and its animated haha.

you MIGHT hate batman beyond, but check out the batman beyond movie return of the joker, and make sure you get the unrated one, it has about 30 extra seconds in it, its all in this flashback scene (which is about 10 minutes long and makes the movie) and its fucking brutal.

Aqua Teen is the greatest. I have the first 4 volumes on DVD and can watch them over and over and over again! Shake Rules!

 

it's a 3-way tie btwn Futurama, the Simpsons, and Family Guy. Hate to say but King of the Hill drives me CRAZY.

The first two (and in my opinion the best) anime shows on US television; Battle of the Planets and Star Blazers. The characters were more fully realized, heroes were flawed, and the plots were a cross between the original Star Trek series and Days of Our Lives.

 

Back in the 90s it would have been the Simpsons, and at times they are still great. But Family Guy is at the top of my list now. Though both have some great hidden satire and such.

It was always The Flinstones for me with honorary mention to Bugs Bunny, Foghorn Leghorn, and Yosemite Sam. Yeah, showing my age here, lol.
